STAYCATION EXPLORATIONS by Edwin Kirk

In contrast to regular vacations, which often require going to a different city, state, or even country, staycations are vacations that are spent in one’s own city while pretending to be a tourist. Staycations have become increasingly popular in recent years. Both are delightful in their own way and come with their fair share of advantages and downsides; however, if you’re considering a staycation for your upcoming vacation, have you considered staying in a hotel or bed and breakfast, instead of staying in your own place? The typical staycation consists of the vacationer remaining in their own residence while also going on day trips to various nearby sites. These day trips are typically shorter in duration than traditional excursions. It may be a trip to a nearby park to try out things like exploring trails that you’ve always wanted to do but never got around to doing so, or it could be a trip to a vineyard to experience some wine, or it could even be a theme park to have fun with the family. You will be able to unwind at home at the end of the day, and then you will be able to get ready for yet another exciting excursion the
