WELCOME 2025-2026 CENTER PRESENTS SEASON SPONSORED BY ALLIED SOLUTIONS In January 2026, Allied Solutions Center will mark the 15-year anniversary of the first regular public performances on campus. Since then, our venues have hosted over 3,700 performances for more than 1.6 million patrons, along with countless family, business and public events.

It’s been a wonderful ride, and we’re just getting started.

The past year has brought significant advancements for our mission. In the fall, we announced a naming-rights sponsorship with Allied Solutions, a locally based national company that shares our commitment to improving quality of life in the community. This spring, we announced the renaming of our flagship concert hall to the Payne & Mencias Palladium, recognizing a generous multi-year gift from two local families who want to strengthen local arts programs for the benefit of all. In each case, the additional financial support helps to reinforce Allied Solutions Center’s financial stability, provide more flexibility in booking top artists, and enable the continued expansion of our educational and experiential programs for people of all ages.

Meanwhile, Allied Solutions Center always seeks to make performances, classes and other programs more accessible and affordable to every segment of the community. Among other efforts, we’re continuing our popular Student Matinee series, which provides engaging programming for school groups at no cost, as well as the donor-funded Transportation Grant Program, which helps educators defray travel expenses for these field trips.

New this season, the Allied Solutions Center has partnered with nonprofit KultureCity™ to obtain Sensory Inclusive® Certification for the Payne & Mencias Palladium. This program includes staff training and a range of onsite accommodations to make the live arts experience more comfortable for the 1 in 4 Americans who have special sensory needs. Read more about our accessibility and inclusion initiatives on page 38.

ABOUT ALLIED SOLUTIONS CENTER Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts is a nonprofit arts and education organization responsible for the operation and programming of a three-venue campus at Carmel’s City Center. Together, the 1,500-seat Payne & Mencias Palladium, the 500-seat Tarkington and the black box Studio Theater create a welcoming environment for the regional community to experience and participate in all forms of the performing arts.

Each year, the Center Presents performance season offers scores of concerts and other events in the fields of pop, rock, jazz, classical, international music, comedy, family programming and more. Allied Solutions Center is home to the affiliated Great American Songbook Foundation and provides space and support services for six Resident Companies: Actors Theatre of Indiana, Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Central Indiana Dance Ensemble, Civic Theatre, Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre and Indiana Wind Symphony. Center facilities also are available for rental events, including performances, corporate meetings, weddings and other social occasions.

Since the opening of the Payne & Mencias Palladium in 2011, Allied Solutions Center has been a leader in the Indiana arts community, hosting over 3,700 performances and more than 1.6 million ticketed patrons from all 92 counties in the state, all 50 U.S. states and 30-plus nations.

The campus also welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year for public events such as the Carmel Farmers Market and the holiday Christkindlmarkt.

Education and experiential programs at Allied Solutions Center include the interactive Peanut Butter & Jam concert series for preschoolers, free Student Matinees and science demonstrations for school groups, FrontRow artist Q&A sessions for music students, the Prism Project arts camp for youth with disabilities, and our Student Discount Ticket program, offering Center Presents student tickets for only $15. Programs for adults include the Luminaries speaker series, the Palladium Bookies reading club, ticket discounts for first-responders and military personnel, and classes in vocal performance, ukulele, songwriting and stand-up comedy.

A FEW GOOD MOMENTS TOUR Burton Cummings is best known as lead vocalist and songwriter for The Guess Who, the first Canadian group to reach No. 1 on Billboard and earn a Platinum album for U.S. sales. Starting in the late 1960s, the band scored a string of international hits including “American Woman,” “These Eyes,” “Laughing,” “No Time,” “Share the Land,” “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature” and “Clap for the Wolfman,” all written or co-written by Burton. FOUR80EAST Toronto-based electro-jazz duo Four80East combines electronic and live elements in its groove-centric music. Rob DeBoer and Tony Grace, the masterminds behind hits like “Noodle Soup,” Eastside” and “Cinco Cinco Seis,” have captivated audiences worldwide with their innovative and soulful musical compositions. They debuted in 1997 with The Album and have since released nine studio albums and a dynamic double live album. ROGER MCGUINN Singer-songwriter Roger McGuinn began his career at 17 and was active on the national music scene before co-founding the Byrds, who blended folk harmonies, Dylan-inspired lyrics and the Beatles’ electric sound to become one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Led by McGuinn’s 12-string Rickenbacker guitar, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers topped the charts with hits like “Mr. Tambourine Man,” helped launch the psychedelic era with “Eight Miles High,” and anticipated the country-rock wave with their album Sweetheart of the Rodeo.

Throughout his long solo career, he has championed the preservation of traditional folk music. Don’t miss this special solo performance!

THE CENTER CELEBRATION 2025 The Center Celebration 2025 isn’t just a gala – it’s a night to ignite creativity, open doors for students, and ensure the arts are accessible to all. Hosted by Artistic Director Michael Feinstein and headlined by singer-songwriter Richard Marx, the annual event supports Allied Solutions Center’s arts and educational programming. The black-tie evening will begin with the First Merchants Bank Red Carpet Arrival and Cocktail Reception, followed by an elegant dinner and live auction in the concert hall and after-parties with live music, dancing, drinks and late-night food in two themed rooms. The Vienna Boys Choir is one of the oldest and most famous choirs in the world. Boys have been singing at Vienna’s Imperial Chapel since at least 1296. In 1498, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I established a Court Chapel in Vienna where he declared that boys would be among the singers, thus laying the foundation for the Vienna Boys Choir.

Today, the former imperial ensemble is a private, nonprofit organization with a primary and grammar school for 330 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 19, with a focus on choral music and singing. The four boys’ choirs perform almost 300 concerts per year.

U.S. NAVY BAND COMMODORES Continuing a tradition of annual free concerts by military bands, Allied Solutions Center is proud to welcome the U.S. Navy’s premier jazz ensemble, the Commodores.

Formed in 1969, this 18-member group continues the jazz big band legacy with some of the finest musicians in the world. The Commodores’ mission includes public concerts, national concert tours, ceremonial support in honoring our veterans, jazz education classes and clinics, and protocol performances for high-level military and civilian government officials. Their concerts are an eclectic mix of traditional big band music, exciting jazz vocal arrangements and fresh new instrumental music. Free tickets will be available this fall.

One of the world’s longest-running Pink Floyd tribute acts, Cleveland-based Wish You Were Here is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a program of Floyd classics that includes highlights of Dark Side of the Moon, Animals and The Wall as well as a full rendition of the 1975 album Wish You Were Here, marking its 50th anniversary. The 10-piece band performs totally live, with no prerecorded music or vocal tracks, in a multimedia stage production that includes lasers, vintage video and other effects.

Founded in 1979, Les Arts Florissants is an ensemble of singers and instrumentalists specialized in the performance of Baroque music on period instruments. On its first coast-to-coast U.S. tour since 2001, the ensemble is joined by fast-rising violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte for Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at 300, commemorating the original 1725 publication of one of the most popular works in Western music. The program frames these iconic masterpieces afresh, setting them alongside music of Monteverdi, Uccellini and Geminiani, composers who influenced Vivaldi’s approach, as well as compositions inspired by his bold vision.

The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook, Michael Feinstein, returns with an evening of timeless music.

The multi-Platinum-selling, five-time Grammy and two-time Emmy award nominee is Artistic Director for Allied Solutions Center and Founder of the affiliated Great American Songbook Foundation. His most recent album is Gershwin Country, which reimagines the classic songs of George and Ira Gershwin through duets with some of the biggest names in country music. Feinstein also serves as Principal Pops Conductor for the Pasadena Symphony and has two signature nightclubs, Feinstein’s at the Nikko in San Francisco and Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel.

With a career spanning almost four decades, Grammy Awardwinning violinist Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated artists of his era. Bell has performed with virtually every major orchestra, and maintains engagements as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor and as the Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. TRANSPORTATION GRANT PROGRAM Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts’ Transportation Grant Program provides funding for public, private, parochial and homeschool educators in central Indiana to bring their students to educational programs and performances at Allied Solutions Center. The grant may be applied only toward transportation associated with Center Presents performances and programs.

School groups may apply for grants up to $250 per bus.

The maximum grant per school/per event is $600.

Reimbursement will be made after the field trip has occurred and will be based on actual expenses submitted.

Homeschool organizations must have a minimum of 15 students, traveling in the same vehicle, in order to apply for transportationrelated funds. School groups must make a field trip reservation with Allied Solutions Center prior to seeking a Transportation Grant. The school is responsible for providing vehicles, drivers and chaperones.

PALLADIUM PALS BOOK CLUB Kids can earn free tickets to a Center Presents performance by reading related books from our list. Even toddlers can participate with adult help.

PALLADIUM BOOKIES This book club for adults meets every other month to socialize and discuss books about the performing arts.

STAND-UP COMEDY CLASSES Led by professional comedians, Intro to Stand-Up Comedy and the next-level Stand-Up Comedy Practicum guide participants in writing their own routines, with an emphasis on live performance.

BEGINNER, GENERAL & ADVANCED UKULELE CLASS

In five weekly group sessions, students learn fun songs and fundamentals of rhythm, strumming, picking and chord melody.

Prior to Center Presents classical music performances, ticketholders can attend these free expert presentations to learn about the featured composers and repertoire.

In these morning sessions for ages 1- 5, kids and their caregivers explore concepts like rhyme, rhythm, melody and beat through fun group activities. Sponsored by Westfield Veterinary Care.

Designed for ages 1-7, these monthly Saturday morning sessions encourage young children to become engaged in the performing arts.

Two adults can attend free per ticket order.

High school and college students of the performing arts receive complimentary admission to a Center Presents performance, along with dinner and a Q&A session at the artist’s sound check.

SCIENCE OF LIGHT & SOUND

In this fun and interactive 60-minute program, Allied Solution Center’s production technicians use the Payne & Mencias Palladium’s concert lighting and sound systems to illustrate basic science principles.

STUDENT MATINEES

These free events for school groups allow students to enjoy a wide variety of live experiences, with the opportunity to ask questions of the artists or presenters after each program.

JAZZTALK

JazzTalk is a series of informal online conversations with jazz artists performing in the current Center Presents season. Viewers can join in online and pose questions after the discussion. Participation is FREE.

SONGWRITING CLASS

Working songwriters lead this five-week course that explores the elements of the craft and provides opportunities for participants to co-write and collaborate with other musicians. The course culminates in a “songwriters in the round” performance in which each participant will share a song and a personal story about the work.

PRESERVATION Did you know Carmel, Indiana, is home to one of the largest collections dedicated to the Great American Songbook? The Songbook Library & Archives is at the heart of our preservation efforts and serves as the primary resource for the curation of our exhibits, bringing musical history to life. This ever-growing resource houses hundreds of thousands of musical arrangements, as well as rare documents, images, and an incredible array of artifacts, including: Awards: A near-EGOT collection, including a GRAMMY, Emmy, and multiple Oscars.

Instruments: Rare pieces such as a unique transposing piano from Irving Berlin and the piano on which Harold Arlen wrote “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz. Costumes: Iconic fashion pieces worn by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Eydie Gormé, and Bing Crosby.
