Jeff Schmid Opens Springers
By: Rose and Lloyd n January, Jeff Schmid started working on opening a new bar “Springers” at 405 Rocky Knoll Road, in Greensboro, NC. Getting licenses and permits stalled as COVID 19 began to halt the country, but Jeff kept at it. He was finally able to open the door April 16th. When I went to talk to him about an ad for The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine, I thought he looked familiar. Little did I know I was working with an icon. Jeff has spent 20 years working on large and small benefits, 20 years with the Elks Lodge in Greensboro, and a member of The Patriot Guards. Now he will be doing work for charities from his own bar. Giving back to the community. The bar has already got a huge following. Jeff says he could never do it without his great staff; Courtney Johnson, Maggie
Honeycutt, Rose Draeger, Sabrina DiFoggio, Joe Davis, Crystal Percell, and Josh Stone. He doesn’t underestimate the help and support of all his family and riders from the biker community.
