We couldn’t be prouder. The judges said “Cytric Easy was the most integrated solution in a highly competitive category and said it stood out as being more innovative in its focus to enable travellers to be more collaborative and had the potential for future growth and broader use”.
This award is all the sweeter, if possible, following on TTGs 2022 Technology Provider of the Year Award.

‘THE Room’ Business Class cabin available on all London flights from 30 October
ANA has announced its flight schedule for routes to and from Europe from 30 October 2022 to 25 March 2023 All flights on the London Heathrow Tokyo Haneda route will be operated by the Boeing 777 300ER, which features ANA’s 'THE Suite' First Class and ‘THE Room’ Business Class Meanwhile, for the Haneda Frankfurt route, the number of flights will increase to 14 weekly round trips.

Japan to allow visa free individual tourists from 11 October
Japan’s Prime Minister has announced the government’s plan to lift the daily limit on arrivals and to allow overseas tourists to travel independently from 11 October Non Japanese nationals, including those from the UK and Ireland will no longer require a visa for a short stay from this day, while all passengers entering Japan must submit a valid vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test result

Bridging the TMC Talent Gap
HotelHub’s Business Development Director Rob Joines explains how technology can help ease TMCs’ staffing challenges now and for the future.
A major legacy of the pandemic is staff shortages, not just for TMCs, but the entire travel industry is struggling with a shortfall in talent, and that’s having a massive impact on customer service Business travel software has stepped up to fill in as many of the gaps as possible But what started as simple rules and commands, being executed automatically by software, has now become machine learning (ML)
Google’s LaMDA is an example of ML It’s a language processor, designed to mimic the way people communicate in text But it’s so smart and convincing, having been trained by basically all of the literature, comments, and information on the internet, that it could pass as human in most contexts Will this tech leak into the travel industry? Well, it sort of already has, in the form of chatbots. But these don’t really pass as humans, at least not yet. Google’s LaMDA could change all of that
For now, at HotelHub we are continuing to push ahead with ML and deep automation, to drastically reduce time consuming agent workloads like hotel content searches, data entry and even hotel re shopping. Automation, and emerging AI technologies will help bridge the current gaps in staff levels They will also help make it easier to train new starters and future proof a TMC’s talent needs.
