former Liberal cabinet minister says Justin Trudeau is wrong to end Canada’s combat mission against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. “I hate war but I hate ISIS more,” Ujjal Dosanjh said in an interview Tuesday with Andrew Nichols on CBC News Network. “What message are we sending to people across the world? That Canada is willing to walk away from the actual war to bring about peace? Canadian man’s selfie altered to look like Paris suicide bomber
Spanish newspaper apologized Sunday after it printed the photo of a Canadian Sikh man, which had been altered and presented as the image of a person responsible for the deadly attacks in Paris on Friday. An image of Veerender Jubbal, a freelance writer from the Greater Toronto Area, began circulating online shortly after multiple, co-ordinated attacks in Paris left 129 dead and hundreds injured. The image appeared to show Jubbal, who was not identified by name, wearing a suicide bomb vest and holding a Qur’an.
