TYPES OF RELIEF CONTINENTAL RELIEF -MOUNTAINS: - very high elevations of the Earth’s surface. - MOUNTAIN RANGES: when mountains are grouped together. - PLATEAUS: high flat areas that are formed from eroded mountains. - PLAINS: - low flat areas. - They are fertile for agriculture due to the sediments deposited in them. - ALLUVIAL PLAINS: are formed by rivers - COASTAL PLAINS: are near the sea.

- BASINS: - very low areas. - some of them are below sea level (Dead Sea)
