MICHAEL BUBLE Crazy love ‘Crazy Love’ is Michael Bublé’s first CD in two and a half years and features two original songs and 11 standards from various eras which he performs in his usual unique manner. The multi-Grammy winning artist locked himself up in recording studios in LA, Brooklyn, New York and his hometown of Vancouver for six months to make his ‘ultimate record about the inevitable roller coaster ride of relationships.’ ‘Haven’t Met You Yet,’ written by Bublé (with Alan Chang and Amy Foster) was the first to be released to radio. Additional tunes on the album include ‘Cry Me A River,’ ‘You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You,’ ‘Georgia On My Mind’ and ‘Baby (You’ve Got What It Takes)’ which was performed with Sharon Jones and The DapKings. The title song is a cover of the Van Morrison beauty: ‘Crazy Love.’ The CD closes out with a haunting version of ‘Stardust’ which is performed with the acapella group Naturally 7. The album was produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica. ‘Crazy Love’ (Loco amor) es el primer CD de Michael Bublé en dos años y medio. JESSE COOK The Rumba Foundation Jesse Cook’s new CD, The Rumba Foundation, continues the Jesse Cook’s journey across time, space and sound. In the 1800s sailors traveled to Spain carrying a hot new rhythm from Cuba: Rumba. Gypsies took this infectious dance rhythm and created their own hybrid: “Rumba Flamenco.” 150 years later, Jesse makes it a round trip by bringing Rumba Flamenco back to its roots, but modernized in what might be his strongest work yet. Jesse melds his trademark rumba flamenco style with the music of Cuba, Haiti and Columbia, among others.
