The Bluejays kicked off the season going 8-1 on the road, but then suffered a loss to #14 Central Methodist University. In the same day, Tabor bounced back to defeat #12 MidAmerica Nazarene University 7-2. The Bluejays finished out the rest of preseason games going 4-5, all away games. To start conference play, Tabor won their first five games. The Bluejays hit a rough patch and went 4-4 in the next stretch of conference play.

Against St. Mary and Oklahoma Wesleyan, Tabor dropped the first game of both series but then battled back to outscore St. Mary by 48-12 in the last two games and Oklahoma Wesleyan by 35-21. The Bluejays are currently sitting in 3rd place in the KCAC and are ranked #12 in the nation in home runs (65), #12 in the nation in RBIs (351), and #20 in the nation in batting average (.334). This year marks the 15th year in a row with 30 plus wins and qualifying for nationals.
