Under first year Head Coach Matt Warren, the Bluejays kicked off the season with an impressive 94-68 home victory over College of the Ozarks. Tabor went 3-3 in preseason play after facing Concordia University (RV), Hastings College twice, and Randall University.

The Bluejays began KCAC play with a pair of road wins at St. Mary and Sterling. Consecutive wins were accompanied by two consecutive losses, but the Bluejays bounced back to win an exciting game at McPherson by four points.

After Christmas break, Tabor struggled to find their footing on the offensive end which led to several close losses. The Bluejays earned the season sweep over St. Mary with a 69-52 win at home as well as a thrilling come from behind victory against York, 67-64. With the men’s side of the KCAC being one of the most competitive conferences in the country, the Bluejays struggled to compete with the experience and talent they faced. Tabor landed nine players on the KCAC Scholar Athlete list, earned two All-Conference Awards and placed seven players on the NAIA Scholar Athlete list.
