Training and education raises the value of the local workforce, so the 4E Partnership supports businesses and employees in pursuing higher levels of skill and learning. To facilitate a welltrainedworkforce, the partnership offers the following resources and funding opportunities:


Online Courses and Certifications: All participants of the 4E Partnership can utilize SkillUp™ Lower Shore to explore career paths and enroll in skill-building courses. This resource is fully funded by the Lower Shore Workforce Alliance andis free for registered students. Career pathways cover everything from entry-level skills to Health Care Transportation.to
Online Training Awards: Funding from the partnership will pay for tuition and materials for employees to earn a professional credential. Participants can also earn a $1,000 incentive payment for completing a program, earning a certificate, and obtaining employment Coaching: The 4E Partnership will also coach the tenindividualsenrolled in online training to support them in achieving learning success.
EQUIP
Referrals: The 4E Partnership can utilize its workforce development and services networks to address the needs of both job seekers and employers. This may include an individual's need to receive social services or a company's desire to participate in an apprenticeship program. Such needs and services will be addressed by qualified staff.

In addition to its commitment to Engage, Employ, and Educate, the Lower Shore 4E Partnership will Equip job seekers, employees, and businesses to develop a successful workforce.
Transportation Assistance: A lack of transportation has prevented many residents from obtaining and retaining employment. By giving bus passes tojob seekers, the partnership can help more people enter and remain in the workforce, which benefits both employers and employees.
