The Sofie Krog Teater are one of the leading puppet theatres companies in Denmark, who are known for a unique comical universe with magic set designs that open up, amaze and wonder the audience. The company was started in 2003 by puppeteer and puppet maker Sofie Krog and was expanded in 2009 when the set designer and puppeteer David Faraco came on board.

Come closer, don’t be afraid and take a peek inside a giant piggy!

OiNK, also known as Gloria, is 9 metres long. You can see her snuffling, opening and closing her eyes, and hear her snoring. Ten people at a time are invited to take a peek at a small magic show inside her belly: the Big Magic Hap-PIG-ness Show. And in the end, it turns out love is all you need!

A creation from the renowned Whalley Range All Stars, which made its Portuguese premiere at FIMFA Lx5 and left such good memories!

After more than twelve years of success with tours all over the world, this huge piggy has new owners and lives in Belgium!

De Kaaimannen is a Belgian street theatre company from the city of Boom. Since 2006, they organise the international theatre festival aan Twater, but they are also involved in the organisation of other cultural activities. With OiNK, they take up again the path of street theatre, while investing in their own circus school for young people with special necessities: Kummelé.

Muitos vão lembrar-se da canção emblemática do filme, cantada por Limahal, e de se imaginarem a voar com Falkor, ou de sonharem com as várias criaturas-marionetas. Baseado no romance homónimo de Michael Ende, o filme de Wolfgang Peterson conta a aventura fantástica de Bastian em “Fantasia”. Um mundo habitado por um caracol de corrida, um morcego planador, o guerreiro Atreyu, uma jovem imperatriz, Falkor, um dragão da sorte, elfos e uma pedra ambulante. Tudo isto existe dentro de um livro aberto por Bastian numa livraria. Nos livros tudo é possível mesmo o avanço do “NADA”. Um filme mágico do princípio ao fim.

TheNeverEndingStory is one of the unforgettable films for those who grew up in the 80s. Many will remember the iconic song from the film, sung by Limahal, and of imagining flying in the skies with Falkor or dreaming with the other puppet creatures. Wolfgang Petersen adapted Michael Ende’s children’s story for this charming fantasy film. It tells the amazing adventure of Bastian in “Fantasia”. A world inhabited by a racing snail, a narcoleptic hang-glider bat, the warrior Atreyu, a Childlike Empress, the luck dragon Falkor, and Rockbiter. All this exists inside a book opened by Bastian in a bookshop. In books, everything is possible, even the advance of “NOTHING”, a dark force. A magical film from beginning to end.

Leos Carax abriu o Festival de Cannes de 2021 com Annette. Um musical romântico, desconcertante e dramático, uma experiência de cinema total e o seu primeiro filme em língua inglesa. A história de um par (aparentemente) perfeito, um comediante de stand-up (interpretado por Adam Driver) e uma cantora de ópera (Marion Cotillard), e da sua misteriosa filha Annette, cujos dons irão mudar as suas vidas para sempre. A banda sonora é dos norte-americanos Sparks, e outra das particularidades de Annette, é que a personagem que dá o nome ao filme é uma marioneta, criada por Estelle Charlier e Romuald Collinet, da companhia francesa La Pendue. Já se apresentaram duas vezes no FIMFA com PoliDegaine (2008) e Tria Fata (2017), onde deslumbraram o público. Estelle Charlier concebeu o rosto e a estética de Annette, enquanto Romuald Collinet tornou possível colocá-la em movimento.

However, when they welcome their daughter Annette into the world, her mysterious gifts will change their lives forever. One of the particularities of Annette is that the character that gives the film its name is a puppet, made by Estelle Charlier and Romuald Collinet, from company La Pendue. They have already performed twice at FIMFA and dazzled the audience with PoliDegaine (2008) and Tria Fata (2017). Estelle Charlier designed Annette’s face and aesthetics, while Romuald Collinet made it possible to set her in motion.
