Dear Friends,
in June we had our last evangelism campaign in Ethiopia, before the rainy season. We went to a remote village where hardly anyone would go to hold a crusade. The pastors were quite happy about our coming.
From day to day the crowd grew and during the weekend thousands attended the meetings to hear the word of God and experience its power.
“Is not my word like fire, says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” Jeremiah 23:29.
There was great hunger for the word of God. Mixing the word with faith is the key to miracles. Many experienced the healing power of God and we heard many healing testimonies. On the last day the Holy Spirit fell as we ministered on the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Our next crusade in Ethiopia takes place from 21-25 August. From 18 -22 September we are again in Nigeria for another gospel crusade. Our new soundsystem for Ethiopia has arrived this week in Djibouti. We still need to get it through customs and pay the tax.
Some time ago I got to know Claus Winkelmann who lives not far from us. He died of a heart attack and a stroke and fell of his chair dead. He left his body and Jesus showed him heaven and hell. He saw friends in hell, whom he knew on earth, that had passed away. He saw priests which he knew on earth and also his own father, who was a church member. Claus was an unbeliever himself when he died but Jesus told him that he will get a second chance because his wife had been praying for him for 20 years.
We made a gospel tract of his testimony and you can read it on our webpage under testimonies. We will also print it in English shortly. It is a good tool for witnessing and for sharing the gospel with unbelievers.
Jesus is coming back again and we need to reach as many people as possible by all means.
