MISSIONREPORT NIGERIA & ETHIOPIA APRIL 2025 Bishop Waleoke – Akarigbo, Head of the Kings of Remoland – Ekkehard

Dear friends!

In March, we had a very powerful evangelis�c campaign in Sagamu, the capital of the Kingdom of Remo in Nigeria. Sagamu is a stronghold of occul�sm, we were told. The preached Word and the Holy Spirit were at work in every mee�ng, and people were saved, healed, and bap�zed in the Holy Spirit.

On Saturday, we were invited to the palace of the Akarigbo, the paramount chief of all the kings of Remoland, to pray for him and his kings. Bishop Waleoke and I had the opportunity to speak to them and pray for them. The Akarigbo told us that two of his kings had recently died suddenly and unexpectedly and that he wanted us to pray for him and the whole kingdom. He asked all his kings to come, about fi�y in number.

I briefly explained the gospel and then led them in a sinners prayer, which everyone prayed along with me. Some of them also came to the mee�ngs.

It would be like a chief minister in Germany calling all his ministers together to pray for himself and his government so that every curse would be broken. In Africa, there is s�ll a natural fear of God, even among unbelievers.

In April, we went to Gesa, Ethiopia, a small town.

It was our smallest evangelism event so far this year, and at first it was tough. Few visitors came, and the people were not as enthusias�c as we were used to. But on Saturday, we had a breakthrough. We saw many healings and deliverances.

Many demons were cast out, and people tes�fied that they had been set free or healed. In the evening, a group of people ran through the village shou�ng, “The sorcerer has lost his power!

The sorcerer has lost his power!”

We were evangelizing at the foot of a hill, and at the top of the hill lived the “witch doctor,” the sorcerer. We were in his territory. He suddenly lost his mind and ran through the village naked like a madman, talking nonsense. That's why the people shouted, “The sorcerer has lost his power!” They chained him up to restrain him.

I thought to myself that the same thing happened to the devil when Jesus died on the cross and rose again. The devil has lost his power.

He is now the bound one, and we are free.

On May 12, we will go to Ethiopia for two more evangelis�c campaigns. We were able to use our new loudspeaker system for the first �me and were also able to buy and use the new generator.

On the last day, we heard tes�monies from people who had been healed. A li�le 12-year-old girl said, “I was blind, and now I can see again.” I asked the mother standing next to her what had happened.

“She had been blind since September,” the mother said. Why, I asked? The mother said that she had beaten the child because she was disobedient, and since then her daughter had been blind. She brought her child to the evangelism mee�ng, and a�er the prayer for the sick, the girl could see again.

We are now well equipped and want to do much more damage to the kingdom of darkness. We just need enough finances to cover everything, as the costs have risen considerably.

HEALING TESTIMONIES ETHIOPIA & NIGERIA

For 20 years this woman has been unable to stand upright due to pain and her eyesight was very poor. For the first �me she can stand and see normally again.

This mother stood in prayer for her daughter, who was in a coma in the hospital and on oxygen. The daughter woke up from her coma and is now fully conscious.

For 8 months she suffered pain in her face and shoulders and lost her hearing almost completely. All symptoms have disappeared and she can hear normally.

This lady has been under medical treatment for 3 years.

She had stomach ulcers and heart problems. She could not walk or stand on her own and had to be carried. She had to take medica�on every hour.

Here she tes�fies that she is completely healed.

For 23 years this woman suffered burning pain all over her body and spent all her money on doctors, but they could do nothing. Jesus touched her and healed her.

He will restore to her everything that the devil has stolen.

For 3 years this man suffered from asthma and back pain.

Everything is gone. Jesus took it away — 2,000 years ago on the cross.

The child had been blind for 7 months.

A�er the prayer for the sick, she could see again.

THE POWER OF THE CROSS & THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION For the message of the cross is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 … what is the surpassing greatness of his power which works in us who believe.

It is the power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead.

Ephesians 1:19-20 The cross was an instrument of murder. Jesus really died.

He was not only seemingly dead, as some claim. Nor was it Judas who was crucified there, as others claim. Jesus was crucified and buried. Before he was buried, Pilate made sure that Jesus was really dead. He sent a soldier to make sure that Jesus was dead. The soldier pierced Jesus’ heart with his spear and found that Jesus was truly dead. Only then did Pilate hand over Jesus’ body to the disciples, who buried him. The Gospels give us a photograph of what happened on the cross. Paul gives us an X-ray of what happened on the cross in his le�ers. Even the disciples did not understand what was really happening. Paul received revela�on through the Holy Spirit and tells us that Jesus’ death was our death. We were crucified with Christ! We died with Him! We rose with Him! We ascended with Him to heavenly places! We now sit with Him on the throne and reign with Him! We are now dead to sin! We are dead to sickness! We are to live now as if the old man is dead and died with Christ — because he is. And we are to live as if we are new creatures and rose with Christ — because we are. Paul says, Consider yourselves dead. Assume that you are dead to sin and now live for God, Romans 6.

Jesus death on the cross was my death. On the cross, Jesus became one with us and took our place. He became on the cross what we were: sin, sickness, poverty, and the curse! In God’s eyes, we hung there on the cross. Our sin died, our sickness died, the curse died, and Satan’s power over us died.

When Jesus rose from the dead, He was free from every sin, every sickness, and every curse. What He became, we became. We are now as free as Jesus is.

Where Jesus is now, there we are also — seated with Him in heavenly places. What Jesus does now, we also do. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead has also made us alive and given us new life.

The same death that killed Jesus killed our old nature.

Jesus died for our sins, but he now lives for God. We too have died to sin with him and now live for God. The same resurrec�on power that made Jesus alive now dwells in us and works powerfully in us. This power dwells in the spirit of every believer and flows from our spirit. It flows into our bodies and keeps our bodies healthy. It flows into our minds and enlightens them. This power causes our spirit, soul, and body to be preserved un�l the day of his return. This power causes the blind to see, demons to be cast out, and even the dead to be raised. Jesus said to His disciples, “You will receive power, and you will carry this power to the ends of the earth!”

It is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead! God wants us to understand the exceeding greatness of His power, which works in us who believe. God’s power is at work in you. It causes you to want and to do His will. We ac�vate this power through faith. I must first believe that I have it before I can experience it. Confess that you have His power and that it is working migh�ly in you. In His name and in His power, you can do the works of Jesus!
