The new year began with two wonderful evangelis�c campaigns in Ethiopia, at the end of January and the beginning of February. We were in the towns of Kamba and Arbegona. Thousands came to hear God’s word and to receive healing.
We wanted to use our new sound system for the first �me and discovered that our generator was too weak for the new, larger system. We then had to conduct the two evangelis�c mee�ngs with our old loudspeakers again, but we had problems reaching all the people. We need a larger generator as soon as possible. The generator (Perkins 65-5) costs €23,000 in Ethiopia. As soon as we have the finances, we can buy it.
We also ran out of follow-up booklets. We give each new convert a booklet to take with them. It is called “Your New Iden�ty in Christ.” We always print 10,000 copies at a �me, but the prin�ng costs have increased so much that a booklet now costs €1. That’s why we only had 5,000 copies printed this �me. Everywhere we go, pastors ask us to leave as many booklets as possible.
Perhaps the Holy Spirit is pu�ng it on the heart of one or the other to help us with the generator and the prin�ng of books.
In the third and fourth weeks of March, we already have the next evangelis�c campaigns, the first in Nigeria and then again in Ethiopia. The harvest is ripe and people are hungry for the truth of God’s word.
What we are seeing in our country right now is painful. For 10 years, our government has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to come to our country.
The government is thus implemen�ng the UN migra�on plan, which wants millions more immigrants to come. The result is that an�-Semi�sm is increasing and there are demonstra�ons on the streets where people shout “Death to the Jews”. Another consequence is that radical Islam is on the rise and people are stabbed or run over in the streets, endangering the internal security of our country. What can we do?
First, we can vote and vote out the par�es that do not put the interests of our people first, but rather put global interests first.
Second, we can pray! Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. Jesus said that Satan is a murderer, a thief, and a destroyer. Jesus gave us authority on earth to bind what is bound in heaven and to loose what is loosed in heaven. He also said that if two of you on earth become one in any ma�er for which they ask, they will receive from their Father in heaven what they ask for. I have included a prayer for our country at the end. Every Chris�an is called to prayer and each of us carries God’s power and has the authority to stop the enemy and all evil forces. The name of Jesus is the highest authority and stands above all other names. In this name, everything in heaven, on earth and under the earth must bow.
Take this prayer and pray it. Then allow the Holy Spirit to pray through you so that the good, perfect and complete will of God can happen for you, for our country and for our world.

I pray for our poli�cians, all members of parliament, all ministers, all those in posi�ons of responsibility – that they may receive God’s wisdom and grace and make the right decisions.
I resist all the powers of darkness that seek to control and dominate our country. I rise up against darkness and against all evil spirits and cast them out, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I command the devil to remove his hand from poli�cs. I pray for every poli�cian, everyone who holds office, thattheymaynotfirstrepresentglobal interests, but think first of the good of our people and that they put God first above all.
I command the devil and his minions: Take your hands off our monetary system and the finances of our country.
I resist all the powers of darkness and all the forces of evil that seek to destabilize our society and our country. Satan, I command you and your demons: Take your hands off our people. I pray for peace and security in our country. In the name of Jesus, I cleanse the air of all demons, of all powers of darkness that want to rule and destroy us! I bind all lying spirits – everything that is wrong. I pray as best I can with my mind. However, my spirit also wants to pray.
Paul says: When I pray in tongues, my spirit prays. My spirit prays with the help of the Holy Spirit. The great and mighty Holy Spirit dwells in me. He ismyhelper.Heismycounselor.Heismyadvocate. He is my intercessor. He is my helper. He wants to pray through me.
I trust Him to help me pray for my country and its leaders and for all who bear responsibility. Holy Spirit, You help me to pray as I should pray – for things I do not understand. I say: Your will be done. Now give me the words.
I resist all the powers of darkness, all the forces of evil, the demons from hell who want to dominate the monetary policy of our country.
I pray for the economy of our country. I pray for the unemployed, that everyone who wants to work will find a good job. I pray that our economy and people will be financially well – so that the gospel can be preached in all the world.
