Why do people often take for granted the very things that deserve their gratitude the most? We do this with both people and possessions. The problem is many people do not realize this until the situation has come and passed. We take things for granted on a daily basis, always with the assumption that whenever we need something, it will be there. There are many things we fail to realize the true value of until they are missing from our lives. Think of technology, the Internet and your cell phone. You do not realize how vital your cell phone is to your life until you have to go days without it. Enjoy the little things in life because someday you will realize they were the big things. “People say you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. Truth is, you knew what you had, you just never thought you’d lose it.” Appreciate all the things you have in life because you never know when that time will end. Clear the clutter inside your mind and realize what you have right now. Don’t wait until you’ve lost it to finally see how much you took it for granted. Don’t wait until you realize that without it, your foundation to make it through each day begins to crumble. Since the 2nd of July 2017, nothing will ever be normal as we thought and planned our “normal” to be. Losing your child is the hardest test a parent can go through. Only then it hits you: “You really did not know what you had, until it’s gone”. Your perspective on life and all the things associated with what people perceived as important and success in life, change. How many times have I listened to and read text like above, but only now I realized painfully the truth behind it, and experience it first-hand. THINKING OF BUYING A 2nd OR SUBSEQUENT HOME? BANKING INSTITUTIONS ACT NO 2 OF 1998: As from 22 March 2017, prospective home loan applicants of second or subsequent residential properties are required to pay a percentage of the purchase price or market value of the property as a deposit. The commercial bank providing the loan to the prospective buyer will finance the remaining percentage of the home loan. This is known as a Loan-to –Value ratio or LTV. For example: For the purchase of a second residential property, the LTV ratio is set at 80% of the purchase price or market value of the property. For instance, if the value of the second property is N$ 1 000 000-00, the bank will finance N$ 800 000-00 and the buyer will be expected to pay a deposit of 20% (N$ 200 000-00) upfront. These regulations are applicable to the following: 1) Close Corporations where the member has more than 50% member's interest (Reg 2.4) 2) Purchase of a non primary residence (Reg 2.1) 3) Natural persons These regulations are inapplicable to 1) Members of a Close Corporation with 50% or less member's interest in a CC 2) Close Corporations with no single member having
more than 50% member's interest 3) Commercial properties 4) Agricultural land 5) Purchase of a primary Residence 6) Private and Public Companies 7) Trusts The regulations are only applicable in Namibia. Property owners in neighbouring South Africa, for example, who apply for loans in Namibia are only examined on residential property owned in Namibia. A customer is only able to obtain a mortgage loan once for the purchase of a primary residence and in all subsequent applications, the customer will have to disclose in the second application for such loan that they are living in a primary home. A banking institution may not disburse a loan for the purchase of a non-primary residential property if the deposit is financed through 1) Equity resulting from the difference between the current value of the existing property of the customer and the amount owed on that property or2) Any funds borrowed from any financial institution, such as an existing overdraft facility to top up for the purchase of a secondary residential property;

Saving money on Pool cleaners Winter time... or with our “current weather patterns”, I should rather say, “Extended Autumn time”, the pool is normally the last thing on which people focus. Inside the pool you normally find the “Creepy Crawly” as most people refer to, the pool cleaner. Normally we neglect this item as it is inside the water and cannot be damaged by the sun….
the slightest variance in the correct suction power from the pool pump will cause a damaged pool cleaner not to work properly.
Reality is, a pool cleaner left inside the covered swimming pool, can be damaged, very badly by chemicals. Pool chemicals like, chlorine and acid, normally attack elements like Algy / bacteria and calcium. During long periods of not using the pool, like for instance (Autumn and Winter) the pool chemicals inside a covered pool, attacks the pool cleaner causing all parts to lose their ability to work properly.
Our advice is: remove the pool cleaner from your covered pool during the times when the pool is not in use. Store it inside a garage and do the same with the pool cleaner pipes. ( do not bent the pipes)

Ingredients: 2 kg Deboned pork loin, whole 12 slices cheddar cheese 12 slices ham Ina Paarman seasoned sea salt Paprika Olive oil Heavy duty tin foil
