BY DR. ANDY GRAHAM It has been another busy week on campus with athletic practices and events, Meet the Teacher Night for Middle and Upper School, and planning for Senior Projects. Thanks to all of you who came out for our Meet the Teacher Night, and although we had a few issues, we appreciate your patience and positive spirit. Our students are richly blessed to have the parental support they have in their families. Many research studies show that involved parents are a huge factor in a student’s school success! We are also excited as our TRA Annual Fund is growing with many families joining us in supporting our school We would ask for your help in assisting us to improve our school the School Calendar for all Sporting Events

As you may know, the tuition does not pay for the many day to day needs of our school, and we do want to provide our students with the best possible academic experience. As well, a robust annual fund is how we reach out to donors to show the commitment of our families to our school. If you would like to make a donation or have questions about the annual fund, please contact Brette Pinner at bpinner@rebelmail.net. Brette would be glad to assist you. We are excited about our upcoming New Parent Coffee that will be held next Thursday, September 8th at 7:00 am in the Performing Arts Center! This should be a fun event to welcome our new families to campus and to provide them the opportunity to meet our TRA Administrative Team and to also spend time with our wonderful TRA Parent Ambassadors. If you are a new family to the school and would like to register or ask for further information, please contact Dr. Jennifer Graham at jgraham@rebelmail net We look forward to seeing you at this event! Lastly, thanks to all of you for sending us these great young people. We are so proud to have each of these students on campus and revel in their growth as a student, as a person, and as a Christian. We are blessed to have each of the families that believe in our mission and support our school.

Upper School Review

Another busy and exciting week in and around the Upper School division at Tipton Rosemark Academy. One specifically exciting thing happening this week is another female athlete, freshman soccer player Tori Davidson, being named as a finalist in this week’s Commercial Appeal girls athlete of the week. Great work, Tori, we are so proud of you! We also want to recognize junior football player, Dominic DeLuco for being recognized by First Citizen’s National Bank as the Player of the Week Keep up the good work,Dom! Tuesday, Jimmy Alford Studio’s photographers were on campus for the first of many senior year milestones, to capture senior photos. While this is an important moment in the lives of our senior students, we are also thankful that they take a little time to have a little fun with it too. This is a tremendous group of seniors, and we are excited to see what the year has in store for each of them.

BY SUSAN CRANFORD “It’s football time in Tennessee!!” That is a very true statement, but those of you that know me know there is a hidden meaning in that as well! Our “big” Rebels are on week 3 and will battle USJ tomorrow night! The most exciting game, though will most likely be tonight at our 6:00 p.m. TRA middle school game as our “Little Rebels” take the field at half time for a PreK 2 and PreK 3 VS. PreK 4 flag football game. The preschool girls will cheer them on! I am not sure how much flag football will be played, but I am positive there will be an overload of CUTENESS and proud parents! Our middle school players and cheerleaders came over to “practice” with the preschoolers this week, and they had so much fun spending time with the “big kids” Being a PreK 2 12th grade campus has so many advantages. “Little Rebels” is a long standing TRA tradition, and we are happy to get that kicked off tonight! Our fourth graders had so much fun learning about the steps of the scientific method. They recently performed the “great cookie dunk”. Students focused on the hypothesis and formed great “guesses” on whether different types of cookies would float or sink. We love making learning fun!

Our ACT Aspire scores from Spring 2022 will be sent home with signed papers next week. As you check your child’s signed papers each week, if you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher. The mid point of our first nine weeks is coming soon. Progress reports will go home the week of September 12 Again, if you have concerns, please contact your child’s teacher

CONTINUED Our preschool classes are working on letter and number identification and enjoy learning though play every day. I see lots of singing, dancing, and exploring though various activities. They are busy and have fun, too!

One of my favorite times of each day is our daily prayer and devotion time I was blessed to catch a sweet second grade class standing in a circle with each student adding a prayer request to the prayer time. THAT is the most important reason we are here! Thank you for allowing us the privilege of sharing God’s word and His love with your child.
