Head of School Review CONTINUED

We have removed the carpeting from the Lower School workroom/supply area and added new flooring. This gave this area a needed spruce up and made that area more comfortable for our teachers.

The Press Box in the Sportsplex has had the old flooring removed, the floor was repaired, and new flooring was installed. As well, a leak in the window was repaired and new furniture is being purchased.

Through the generosity of a TRA family, our gym ceiling was repaired and repainted. This was a huge job, and this repair was done at no cost to our school. We are so thankful for our families who give so unselfishly to our school.

New marketing banners welcoming families to TRA were installed in the mall area of the school. This process has really helped in branding and displaying our logo.

The old science lab was redone, a new tile floor was installed, and a nice room was made for MS Science.

All of our rooms have had floors stripped and waxed and prepared for the school year.

Through a partnership with the SERVE program (Youth from Covington First United Methodist, First Baptist Church of Covington, and Covington First Assembly of God), several of our elementary classrooms received a fresh coat of paint.

We had over 350 students from all over the area on campus participating in our summer camps. Thanks to Mrs. Rebecca Downing for her work organizing our camps.

Our TREC (Tipton Rosemark Extended Care) has a new Director, Mrs. Amber Adler. TREC was a popular program this summer and offered many fun activities including arts and crafts, parachute day, weekly water day, foam parties, slime making, rock candy making, and trips to the Memphis Zoo and Children’s Museum.

As you can see, it was a wonderful and busy summer on campus, and these are just a few examples. We are also excited about the growth of our school. Our enrollment has surpassed 600, and we appreciate all of you for getting the word out concerning the great things happening at TRA! Lastly, we would like to invite all of you to join us for our TRA Back to School Bash and Annual Meeting at 5:30pm at the Sportsplex. There will truly be something here for the whole family from live music, to bounce houses, to food trucks. We will also give a report from the Board and a new member will be nominated for our Board of Directors. Please come and join our community and bring all of your family. You are all invited and welcome!
