our
middle school students. All of these accomplishments and we haven’t even gotten to our excitement about graduation this weekend for our kindergartners and of course for our senior class. I must say that I will miss our seniors. This class shown
tremendous
leadership,
has
kindness,
character, and scholarship as they have moved through the year. We are excited for them as they prepare for the next chapter of their life, but their loss will be felt on campus. We will be praying for them this weekend as they attend baccalaureate and graduation. Have a great weekend, and thanks for sharing your amazing children with us!

Tuesday, May 17 1st Period Exam 3rd Period Exam
Wednesday, May 18 5th Period Exam 2nd Period Exam
Thursday, May 19 4th Period Exam 6th Period Exam Monday is the last full day of classes for the 2021-22 academic year, and final exams will be taken between Tuesday and Thursday, according to the schedule listed above. Exam days are only half days, and students will be dismissed at 11:30 each day. Grades will be finalized within the week, and final report cards mailed to upper school students at that time. This week we celebrated the academic and leadership accomplishments of our middle and high school students at each of their own respective awards programs. I’m sure some may say I’m biased, but I think I can back it up when I say we have some of the best students around. They’ve worked hard this year and we are very proud of them.

Varsity Softball will host the Div II AA State Tournament Quarterfinals next weekend. Come out and support your Lady Rebels! Details to follow...
CONTINUED Our softball program has been on fire over the last week. The middle school team won their league championship, finishing the season undefeated in their district. Way to go ladies, and coaches! The varsity team also won their region championship, and are preparing to host their substate series later next week. We are so very proud of this team and their coaches! As Coach Sanfran says, “But we ain’t done yet…” On Saturday we will celebrate our class of 2022, by conferring their diplomas and welcoming them into the alumni association of Tipton-Rosemark Academy. It’s hard to believe we are already facing the graduation date for this group of students. They are an exceptional group, indeed. They are the next to last class I taught in the classroom before being given the opportunity to be their principal. But, they are THE last class I got to have for two years in middle school science. They are fierce, they are smart, and they will always hold a special place in my heart. Please join us in praying over the class of 2022, as they prepare to write the next chapter of their lives. Well done, Class of 2022, we love you, we are proud of you, and pray God’s protection and provision over each of your steps as they lead you from TRA but toward the great plans only He could’ve prepared for you.

Mrs. Rhonda McCool, our after school piano teacher, had her yearly recital Tuesday night. It was so fun! Her piano students did a fantastic job and entertained us all!
BY SUSAN CRANFORD We are winding down! We have tons of end of the year events, as well as lots of year end academics happening this week. We have had a fabulous year and we are enjoying celebrating these final few days. We had a wonderful program for our PrK4 on Monday night. It was titled “Shine Bright”. Our hope is that they will always shine bright for Jesus! Our fifth graders completed a health project on systems of the body and made models of various systems. There are some really unique ones this year. They did a great job on this assignment! Our PreK 3 class had fun today with a water day! They splashed and played and enjoyed this warm day together. Our PreK and Kindergarten classes will end their year together tomorrow with a picnic and games from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Kindergarten left secret notes on the lockers of their Senior buddies and were so excited to get a few notes back. Kindergarten also went on an in house field trip as they went to visit first grade to see their future rooms. Congratulations to our middle school softball team on winning the championship game. They are region champs! Our three fifth grade softball girls did a great job this year playing with the middle school girls! Way to go Lady Rebels!

Lower School Review CONTINUED Our fifth grade Chapel yesterday was so sweet and so wonderful. Our fifth graders played the ukulele and sang beautiful songs. Our students were given a list of precepts to choose from including scripture verses and wisdom God has revealed to people. Many students even chose to create a precept of their own. The idea of the precepts came from the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio, which the 5th grade students read together this year. In the book Mr. Tushman, the school principal, addresses the student body including Auggie, Jack Will, Charolette, and Summer and all the other students at Beecher’s Prep during their graduation ceremony. In his speech he says, “If every person in this room made it a rule that wherever you are, whenever you can, you will try to act a little kinder than is necessary the world really would be a better place. And if you do this, if you act just a little kinder than is necessary, someone else, somewhere, someday, may recognize in you, in every single one of you, the face of God.” We pray for our fifth graders as they move to middle school. We pray they will continue to share God’s love with everyone and that we will always recognize the face of God in them.

Our fourth grade paired up with second grade and kindergarten to make Gospel fuzzies and bracelets. They practiced using these on each other to tell friends about Jesus’ love for us. Mrs. Wendy loved having this time with all of these students.
