Head of School Review

It has been an exciting time on campus recently with the play and our spring sports teams in action We are immensely proud of our students who have showcased their talent and hard work in these endeavors.

Our school musical, SpongeBob The Musical, was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and efforts of our students, teachers, and staff. The students put on an incredible performance that left the audience spellbound Their hard work, commitment, and passion truly shined through, and we couldn't be prouder of them.

We are equally thrilled about the accomplishments of our spring sports teams. Our athletes have demonstrated their talent, skill, and sportsmanship on the field and have seen some remarkable performances Their efforts and commitment to their sports have not gone unnoticed; we are incredibly proud of them.

We also want to remind parents to encourage their children to continue to work hard and to pursue their passions, both in academics and extracurricular activities. We believe that the success of our students is a testament to the dedication and support of our parents, and we are grateful for your continued involvement in our school community

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our school, and as always, thanks for sending us these terrific young people. We are blessed to have them at TRA!

Upper School Review

During Late Start, on Wednesday, teachers from the upper school science and math departments participated in training for the new Promethean Boards that have recently been added to their classrooms. The teachers and kids have really enjoyed the new technology in their classrooms, and I can’t wait for us to be able to outfit the rest of our classrooms with them as well. It has proven to be such a valuable resource for teaching and learning within our classrooms!

This week our sophomores and juniors took the ACT test during the school day. This is always an exciting time, and I loved hearing the kids talking about things they saw on the test that they knew or had been prepared for! I can’t wait to get our scores back to see how many new names we will be adding to our ACT 30+ Club!

Baseball Buddies and Softball Sluggers are back! Last week, our baseball and softball teams reunited with their elementary friends, for one of our favorite spring-time mentoring activities on campus Student athletes from both programs are partnered with classes in each grade of the Lower School, and throughout the final quarter of school they visit their class and participate in various activities with their younger friends. Later in the season, they will welcome their younger friends out for a home game where the elementary students get to run out with their buddies to their respective positions before the game This is such a fun opportunity, not just for our younger students, but for our older ones as well. Be sure to check the calendar for Baseball and Softball Buddy night, and come out for those home games as well!

Next week our students will participate in Spiritual Emphasis week, in honor of Holy Week as we approach Easter and our Savior’s Resurrection. Students will attend an allschool Easter chapel on Monday, and then upper school students will have chapel each day for the rest of the week where they will hear messages from different church leaders in our community.

Lower School Review

We are gearing up to celebrate Easter! Our Kindergartners got a head start on egg hunting and took advantage of the beautiful weather Thursday The task was to find the eggs in order from 1-12. Math can make egg hunting funwho knew?!?

Our Bike-a-Thon was a huge success and our boys and girls loved riding laps to support the Annual Fund We appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness by supporting our school through this special event.

Our PreK 4 classes had their annual Teddy Bear Tea Party recently. They looked so beautiful and handsome! We loved seeing the 2nd graders help by taking orders and serving snacks and drinks. This "par-tea" was the perfect way to celebrate the letter "Pp."

Kindergarten students led the music ministry in chapel this week They sang praise songs with our students and recited Bible verse to go with each letter of the alphabet. Seniors Anna Wilder & Will Hughes also read "The Easter Story" during chapel.

TEACHING OUR CHILDREN GOD'S WORD, SO THEY WILL HIDE THESE WORDS IN THEIR HEARTS FOREVER IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WE CAN TEACH OUR CHILDREN.
