Upper School Review

But we di dn’ t want to mi ss getti ng to worshi p wi th our 5K fri ends, so we got to have TWO chapel s thi s week! What a wonderful bl essi ng i t was i ndeed, to be remi nded about the greatness of our God through the l enses of our preci ous li ttle ones!

Tuesday ni ght was Seni or Ni ght for our varsi ty boys and gi rl s basketball players and cheerl eaders. We have a very i mpressi ve resume of accompli shments and years of commi tment to thei r teams. Four years fl y by so qui ckl y, but i t’ s so hard to i magi ne that these young l adi es and men are al ready seni ors. Our varsi ty basketbal l teams have wrapped up thei r regul ar season, and we are expecti ng to be getti ng i nformati on about the regi on tournament schedule someti me today. The l ast two athl eti c seasons have been chal l enged by health mi ti gati on procedures, and fear of not bei ng abl e to compete at al l . But, we have been blessed to have had most al l of our schedul ed games and al so to have our teams parti ci pate wi th the support of thei r fami l y, fri ends and school communi ty cheeri ng for them from the stands. As the regul ar season chapter comes to an end, i n the words of our accompl i shed athl eti c di rector Coach Sanfratel l o, “ we ai n’ t done yet! ” Our boys and gi rl s sti l l have some work to do i n the post season, so be sure and show your support.

Lower School Review

BY SUSAN CRANFORD We are busy this week playing catch up from our snow/ice days! Our third graders are learning about flight with a study on the Wright Brothers, Charles Lindbergh, and Amelia Earhart. This is such a fun unit of study. Mrs. Barron’s third grade class also had fun with a homophone scavenger hunt!

Students searched the hall finding and answering questions about homophones.

We are in need of substitute teachers!

Our PreK-2 students are out to change the world! They told their teachers how they planned on changing the world and did a cute pained picture of Earth. These are so fun to read!

Our PreK-3 students in Mrs. Hannah’s room are preparing for Valentine’s Day by writing what they LOVE to do. These are so cute and it is amazing to see how much our three year olds have matured so far this year.

We have several after school classes / camps going on right now. Robotics class, art class and speed and agility camp are all in full swing. Our students are loving these FUN after school offerings! Be on the look out for more camp sign ups as the year continues.

Monday is Valentine’s Day and our classes will have a small party / treat on Monday afternoon. A limit of two parents per student are allowed to attend. PreKPreK-4 parties will begin at 1:45 and end at 2:15. Grades Kindergarten through 5th parties will begin at 2:15.
