Upper School Review

BASKETBALL HOMECOMING WILL BE ON JANUARY 6TH FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND JANUARY 7TH FOR HIGH SCHOOL. THE COURT FOR BOTH DIVISIONS WAS ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF OUR LOVELY LADIES!

The last couple of weeks of the Fall semester are always full of activities and events throughout our campus. Last Friday our varsity boys and girls basketball teams hosted Kingsbury in our gym, and both teams posted wins for the left-column of the season record. The guys and girls have been working hard, and it is always nice to see your efforts pay off at the end of the game. Great job varsity Rebels and Lady Rebels!

One of our varsi ty softbal l l adi es, Ms. Kayl a Cl ement hel d her offi ci al commi tment event on Monday afternoon, by si gni ng a nati onal l etter of i ntent to pl ay softbal l at Chattanooga State. Chatt State i s one of the best j uni or col l ege softbal l programs i n the country, and thi s i s an i ncredi bl e opportuni ty for Kayl a! KC, your school fami l y i s very proud of you, and we cannot wai t to see what The Lord has i n store for your future!

Upper School Review CONTINUED What a wonderful ti me of prai se and worshi p, to hel p us prepare for cel ebrati ng the most bl essed and j oyous event i n al l of human hi story! Havi ng chapel together wi th al l of our students, i s one of the most speci al thi ngs about our school bei ng on one campus. I t has been i n these moments of combi ned worshi p, where I have fel t the presence of God the strongest i n my ti me at TRA. These are thi ngs that set us apart from other school communi ti es, i n my humbl e opi ni on. As we wrap up thi s fi nal week of the semester, and prepare to cel ebrate Chri stmas wi th our fri ends and fami l i es, I pray that we al l remember the reason for the cel ebrati on. We have been gi ven the greatest gi ft humani ty coul d ever recei ve, and whi l e not a si ngl e one of us i s worthy, He was gi ven j ust the same. Our PTO catered a delicious lunch for us on Tuesday. We appreciate our PTO so very much.

They go above and beyond for us all year long.

Thank you also to the parents who covered classes so that our teachers could enjoy lunch together in the library.

There were LOTS of speci al characters i n car l i ne Tuesday morni ng. Dr. Graham and I l oved bei ng the el ves on a shel f! I t was great to see the exci tement i n al l the faces young and ol d. Our car l i ne assi stants j oi ned the fun and dressed as toys.

Coach Dean and Coach Starnes dressed as Pol ar Express characters on Wednesday to ki ck off our PJ’ s and Pol ar Express day.

We are l ooki ng forward to our Chri stmas programs Thursday and our Happy Bi rthday Jesus parti es on Fri day. As we wi nd down thi s week, I want to thank you for al l you do for us here at TRA. We are trul y bl essed wi th the BEST parents and grandparents. TRA i s such a speci al pl ace and we are fortunate to be here together.
