We are working diligently preparing for our SAIS visit that is scheduled for November 17-19. We have submitted a report of over 80 pages to the accrediting organization and are making final plans for the visit. There are so many great things happening on campus, and we are excited about showcasing our awesome school to the accreditation team.

I want to l eave you thi s week wi th a fi nal word that comes from a burden that has been l ai d upon my heart l atel y…ki ndness, I recentl y spoke wi th a group of students about how i t actual l y takes zero effort to j ust not be mean, but why i s i t that i t' s so much easi er for us to defaul t to that over bei ng ki nd? The Bi bl e says i n Ti tus 3: 4-6, “ But when the goodness and l ovi ng ki ndness of God our Savi or appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us i n ri ghteousness, but accordi ng to hi s own mercy, by the washi ng of regenerati on and renewal of the Hol y Spi ri t, whom he poured out on us ri chl y through Jesus Chri st our Savi or…” I chal l enge you thi s week, to start conversati ons at home, about choosi ng moments to noti ce the needs of others and demonstrate ki ndness to someone i n that moment…someti mes i t takes onl y one act of ki ndness and a cari ng word, to make a l asti ng i mpact on someone’ s l i fe.
