We are proud to announce that our recent Water Walk for Project R12 was a huge success, this year we have raised over $15,000 for a very worthy cause Our students demonstrated their commitment to making a difference in the world, and we couldn't be more proud of their efforts.

In other exciting news, our Fine Arts students have been nominated for an impressive 11 awards by the Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards. This is a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft We wish them the best of luck and are eager to see their talents on display.

Valedictorian Salutatorian Historian

Brooke Catherine Cox is the daughter of Wade and Susan Cox of Lakeland. She has attended TRA for nine years. Brooke is a member of the 30+ Club, and she plans to attend Tulane University to study anthropology and art history

Lillian Caroline Garner is the daughter of Tom Garner of Ripley and Allison Douglas Wilson of Henning. She is a member of the 30+ Club, and plans to attend the University of Memphis to major in criminal justice and political science.

Hannah Kathryn Frye is the daughter of Darin Frye and Katie Frye. She has attended TRA for nine years. Hannah is a member of the 30+ Club, and she plans to attend Mississippi State University to major in animal and dairy sciences with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine.

Emma Grace Pence is the daughter of Michael and Samantha Pence of Covington. Emma has attended TRA for three years. She is a member of the 30+ Club, and plans to attend Union University to continue her soccer career and major in pre-occupational therapy or special education and minor in worship leadership.

Ella Chapman McIntosh is the daughter of Russell and Amy McIntosh of Brighton. She is a member of the Fourteen Year Club at TRA. She plans to attend the University of Memphis to pursue a degree in nursing in hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner

Beau Billings Downing is the son of Davin and Rebecca Downing of Munford. He is a member of the Fourteen Year Club at TRA. Beau’s college plans are still undecided, but he plans to major in finance.

Anna Loraine Wilder is the daughter of Keith and Bebe Wilder of Millington. She is a member of the Fourteen Year Club at TRA. She plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin on a rodeo scholarship while also pursuing a double major in accounting and finance

William McDaniel Hughes is the son of Ryan and Katie Hughes of Rosemark. He is a member of the Fourteen Year Club at TRA. He plans to attend Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in business.

Elijah Paul Ramsey is the son of Brian and Sally Ramsey of Millington He is a member of the Fourteen Year Club at TRA. He plans to attend Union University to further his baseball career and pursue a degree in finance.

Jacklynn Colleen Hailer is the daughter of Jeffrey and Lisa Hailer of Millington She has attended TRA for nine years She plans to attend Southwest Tennessee Community College to pursue a degree in Radiologic Technology with an emphasis in X-Ray, in hopes of later pursuing a bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.

Lower School Review

Our first through fifth graders have been busy this week taking our standardized tests. We took the CTP test that is a part of ERB. Tests were given online, and results are given quickly. These results will be included in your child’s final report card that will be handed out at awards day during the last week of school.

Kindergarten is gearing up for graduation! They look so grown up in their caps and gowns. The display of their pics in frames makes me a little happy and a little sad as I walk by! They are growing up fast! Our Kindergartners will enjoy breakfast with our Seniors next Wednesday, and we will also have our annual parade of graduates following the breakfast

May is quickly approaching! Please take note of the following dates:

Wednesday, May 3 Kindergarten / Senior breakfast and parade of graduates.

Friday, May 12 Last day for PreK & Kindergarten

Wednesday, May 17 through Friday, May 19 (last day of school) - 11:30 a.m. dismissal & NO TREC

OUR PREK-3 CELEBRATED LETTER “Z” THIS WEEK, AND STUDENTS CHOSE WHAT ANIMAL THEY WOULD WANT IN THEIR ZOO. THEY LOVED LEARNING ABOUT THE DIFFERENT ANIMALS! PREK-2 CELEBRATED “PIRATE DAY” AND HAD SO MUCH FUN. THEY WERE THE CUTEST LITTLE PIRATES YOU’VE EVER SEEN!
