An interminable traveller of time, dimensional and realm, we know that the Astral Planes have been a part of the Doctor Who series, with interesting plots and thoughts as to what exactly that plane may be like. The 6th Doctor, referred to the Astral Plane as a ‘Collective Illusion’. The mind travelling out of its body via astral projection into the subconscious of the universe! Many plots and difficulties arose regarding the Astral; facets of a dimensional mental energy mirroring the physical world, taking great strength of character and mental clarity to map
one’s journey into and out of, utilising the dream state and using magic to avoid the trappings of the ‘eternal mind!’ The Doctor Who series began broadcasting in 1963 and continues to the present day, currently with the first female Doctor who entered our time and space in 2017/18.
