First season ticket holders
Saartje and Rudy Dessers were the first new season ticket holders for the upcoming 2020-2021 football season. Father and daughter have been fans for years and have already bought season tickets in the past. But due to circumstances, they chose to follow STVV on the televison for several years. Last season they returned to Stayen to watch the top games. They thought!
“That’s right,” says Rudy. “We were eager to attend all the top matches at Stayen. But be cause Saartje wanted to see the Canaries live at work more often, we ended up there every game. That actually immediately resulted in the purchase of a season ticket for the coming football season ”. Rudy has been a fan of the Canaries for more than 30 years. Saartje has been going to Stayen since she was twelve years old. Due to circumstances, they started watching the games on television a few seasons ago. “After a while you miss the atmosphere in the stadium,” says daughter Saartje. “You create a bond with the people around you and that is a special feeling. We leave for the match together, go out for dinner and stay in the Rvue after the match ”. You can find Saartje and Rudy in section E of thee ast stand. “So we are happy that we were able to get our seats in the stadium. Those are the best places in the stadium, ”Saartje cheers enthusiastically. “From there, she has a great view of Samuel Asamoah, her favorite Canary,” says father Rudy.
