What a busy lead up to half term we have had!

RJ have visited the supermarket this week to deliver the fruit posters we made and buy some fruit to make a milkshake with. This was inspired by the class stories we have been reading: Oliver’s Vegetables, Oliver’s Fruit and Oliver’s Milkshake. We also learned how to peel vegetables in preparation for making some chips - Yum!

RP meanwhile have been learning about lifecycles and this coincided with the emergence of some of our butterflies from their chrysalises. This caused much excitement all round and the children have been watching with bated breath each day to see what happens. Lots of beautiful butterfly inspired art and learning about symmetry has followed on from this.
RC meanwhile have been drawing flowers and learning about growing. Each class has planted some cress seeds and we hope to observe what happens next. Lots more growing to come next term.

Finally, we say goodbye to George until September, we will miss you George, but this is just au revoir.
Have a lovely half term, see you for our final half term in a week! We have lots more to pack in!
