Year 3 patiently waited until Wednesday for their opportunity to shine. I was blown away by how all the children performed, there were lots of tricky notes, pedalling on the piano and difficult sharps and flats to overcome but they all did brilliantly! The concert was rounded off by our lovely Year 3 Ukulele group who invited everyone to join in to sing "You are my Sunshine" and "The lion sleeps tonight". What a great way to celebrate all of our talented musicians.
A huge thank you to our amazing team of visiting music teachers, they put in so much work with the children and the concerts would not have been possible without their hard work.
Many thanks to our audiences over the three days, the children were so excited to perform to you and really appreciated you being here.
Finally thank you to everyone for all the support you give your children at home learning their instruments. It's always tricky to start an instrument and it really does make all the difference when the children are able to play at home in between their music lessons. Mrs Hayden
