Wow what a fabulously musical week we have had!
It has been so lovely to hear the children perform in front of friends and family this week. We started with our Year 1 children who sang so confidently, wowing everyone with their Alphabet in reverse and B A Star which was accompanied by our amazing recorder players. It was the first time our recorder children had performed in front of an audience, there were a few nerves but plenty of smiles at the end of each piece! We also enjoyed Oscar and George's piano pieces, it was lovely to hear what they have been learning at home.
Tuesday saw the first of two performances by our amazing choir. The children confidently sang in two parts, led by some of our Year 3 children. They have worked so well this half term on our tricky two-part pieces, our Year 3 children have really enjoyed using their leadership skills helping us to keep in time with the different harmony parts. Year 2 soloists followed, lovely confident playing, lots of smiles, amazing performances considering most of the children have been learning for less than a year!
