“In God we trust, all others bring data.” — W Edwards Deming

LISA DELANEY | Deputy Head of College

Since 2018, the College has prioritised the collection of meaningful data to assist in the future strategic and operational planning as well as tracking changes in our performance. For our 2021 survey, MMG have been commissioned to gather data from our College parents (Prep-12), staff and students (Years 5-12) as part of our commitment to continually monitor and improve the quality of education we provide to our students.

This year a total of 240 parents from Springfield and 843 parents from Indooroopilly completed the survey. The surveys were extensive and covered more than 300 aspects of education and life at the College. The following tables list the top five results where parents expectations had been met or exceeded across key areas, ranked in order of importance they placed in these same areas when choosing a College for their children.

Below is a small sample of some of the 'open ended' comments from parents in relation to what they valued about their experience with the College. St Peters provides my children with a holistic program of development. Academic focus is rigorous but is not the sole focus. I appreciate the variety of cocurricular opportunities available for the students to experience; the vocational courses offered; and the Christian ethos that underpins the Pastoral Care & personal development programs. The community spirit; the heart and quality of its leaders; caring and honest teachers; a good balance of sports activities with academic abilities; quality of education; the ambience and positive atmosphere; that our children are very happy and proud to be associated with the College; instilling confidence in students. The teachers are very helpful and cater to the individual student needs. St Peters is an excellent school that provides quality education and produces ready-for-life graduates.
