SPOSA and P&F Trivia Night

Sean Connery’s first job was a coffin polisher – True or false? Name the animal which is born but cannot reproduce? Just, two of the many thought-provoking questions from the inaugural P&F and SPOSA Trivia night on Saturday 9 October.

ROBERT BARBER | P&F President Indooroopilly

The night was a true celebration of the College community with 15 teams coming dressed as their chosen decade. 1340’s team, the 'St Plaguers' brought up the chronological rear, with teams from 20s-90’s all being well represented. 'Pac Man Posse' won the prize for best dressed table with 'Love, Peace & Mungbeans' coming a close second.

It was great to see members of the St Peters Leadership Team at Trivia Night - Mr Kotzur, Mr and Mrs Delaney and, Mrs Aishford - who were hosted by Llewellyn Jones (SPOSA President) on the SPOSA table. After a challenging year it was great to see them all relaxing and having some fun.

Competition was fierce with 1970s group 'Let’s Get Quizzical' taking out the prize of trivia champions with $1,000 going to their chosen charity – Elorac Place Community Centre.

Kat Feeney did a sensational job as MC – funny, entertaining, and full of energy. The perfect host for such an event.

Thank you to the St Peters teachers and staff who took the time to record trivia questions. Thank you also to Councillor James McKay for his support. This is the first time the P&F and SPOSA have collaborated in putting together an event, and we look forward to working together in the future.
