Local Sports Round Up Hinxworth Archery Club was founded in 1999 and although small in numbers, HAC has come to dominate in the Hertfordshire Archery Association’s Summer and Winter Leagues winning in every category on quite a few occasions. One of their archers even represented Great Britain over many years and in 2018 brought home the Compound Team Gold Medal at the European Championships.

Stotfold Judo Club continue to thrive, competing in Leicester for the Southfields Open Judo competition. Ten Judoka attended, eight juniors and two seniors. The results were Sophia Funga, Bronze, Josh Funga, Silver, Hari Crowley, Silver, Shaina Rickman, Gold, Jay Crowley, Silver, Nisha Rickman, Silver, Unfortunately Robbie Young and Jack Laraman did not medal, but they had some great fights. Our seniors Both Medalled, Laura Beech, unusually, got two bronze medals and Josh Harrington won Gold. Whilst the junior section currently has a waiting list the senior mat has room for new members, if you are interested then get in touch with them.
