2022 Rooted deep in Greek history, Areté means excellence in all things. The notion of excellence is ultimately bound to the idea of complete fulfillment—the act of living up to one’s full potential. The St. George Area Chamber of Commerce set out to find and recognize business and community leaders of the highest caliber who had significantly impacted the community, excelled in their professions, and devoted time and resources to the betterment of the St. George area. These leaders were presented with the Areté Award, the most prestigious award given by the Chamber and reserved for those who have dedicated their lives to excellence and service.
