This equilibrium, this broadness of incorporated factors of creativity, hallmarks him as a classic. No wonder that he keeps his distance to purists of all proveniences.

Vl_______ Horst Kuhnert has proved to be an artist who has always remained true to himself, never belied his artistic fathers and refused to make any compromise. What makes his works immediately discernible is the adherence to a consistant concept, which always proved to be flexible. and accepted enrichments when this was indicated by trial and error, by learning by doing, by targetted attempts under creative-aesthetic aspects.
