A Guide to Giving & Getting Involved

When St. Anne gives together, St. Anne grows together.
Students learn that a faith-based education centered on Catholic social teaching emphasizes a spiritual, personal, and social responsibility to better the world. The time, talent, and treasure of our community sustains the immediate and long term goals of St. Anne, contributes to a strengthened community bond and reveals a tireless commitment to God, each other, and the future of St. Anne.

At St. Anne Catholic School, students witness first hand the blessings of our generous community, where the philanthropic and servant leadership by our families and staff exemplifies the Basilian cornerstone of Goodness,Discipline and Knowledge.
St. Anne’s advancement efforts have made it possible for our school to confront the unexpected challenges each school year presents. Mission-centered advancement goals provide students with exceptional learning opportunities for continued academic excellence and enhanced spiritual growth, as well as to ensure that faculty and staff have the tools and resources required to serve the St. Anne mission.
• A diverse community; And so much more...
St. Anne asks families to make the Annual Fund a philanthropic priority. Each fall, we ask current families to give an Annual Fund gift. With gifts that range from $10 to $50,000, regardless of the size, every gift makes an impact and 100% campus-wide participation is essential. While the Annual Fund campaign runs from fiscal year July 1st through June 30th, active campaigning begins with GDK Day, St. Anne’s giving day in September. Visit www.stannecs.org/annualfund to make your gift today.

What is FIESTA?
FIESTA volunteers help celebrate a season of raffle ticket selling and St. Anne pride! FIESTA’s success depends on the volunteer efforts and sponsorships of parents, parishioners, and community partners. Families are asked to staff carnival booths, be event sponsors, and sell raffle tickets.
The St. Anne FIESTA! is a campus-wide celebration that benefits both St. Anne Catholic School and the St. Anne Parish. The FIESTA fundraising season includes raffle ticket sales, where every St. Anne student and staff person is asked to sell 8 books of raffle tickets. As a reward for an exciting raffle selling season, FIESTA! Fest event sponsors and community underwriters allowed for FIESTA! Fest carnival games, rides, and inflatables to be free for St. Anne families to enjoy.
Every year, FIESTA fundraising supplements the gap between the actual cost to educate a child and the tuition that the school collects. In addition, a portion of the proceeds benefit the Parish religious education program.

FAQ’S

A: St. Anne strives to make tuition affordable. The School Advisory Council determines tuition fees to cover approximately 87% of educational costs. The difference is supported through generous gifts and donations, specifically to the Annual Fund and FIESTA.
Q: Why doesn’t tuition cover all costs?
A: St. Anne strives to keep a Catholic school education affordable and available to all. Generous contributions to the Annual Fund, as well as the sale of FIESTA raffle tickets, help reduce the need for significant tuition increases. Funding the school through philanthropic giving efforts offers many additional benefits compared to funding the school through tuition alone, such as tax-deductibility for parents and the potential for employer matching gifts.
Q: Why is 100% participation important?
A: 100% participation sends a message of confidence in the St. A nne experience. Faculty and staff, the school board, and the PTO board lead the challenge by committing to the Annual Fund at 100% participation. By focusing on participation, we build community and inspire other gifts. St. Anne asks families to give in a way that is meaningful to them. Every parent contribution, no matter the size, plays a integral role in the Annual Funds’ success.

Q: Why does the School ask for a contribution in addition to tuition?
Matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that employees make to St. Anne. Matching gifts maximize the impact of a donation. Gifts from companies like Shell, Dell, Bank of America, Chevron, and many more, often double or triple your gift! For more information, visit www.stannecs.org/matchinggifts
