It is a time to fellowship, to share experiences, and to learn from one another. This is not a foster/adoptive recruiting event, rather, it is all about supporting people on their post-placement journey. Discussions have included or may include transracial adoption, attachment issues, navigating relationships with birth parents and families, the effect of trauma, among others. A light breakfast will be served, and childcare is available if you register in advance. Register at stlukesumc.com/events. MIDDLE SCHOOL MAYHEM JUNE 27-JULY 1 Students who will be in 5th-8th grade for the 2022-23 school year are invited to our FAVORITE event of the year - Middle School Mayhem! This week-long day camp gives middle schoolers a chance to form new friendships as they have discussions and competitions with their “crew” of other students and a few leaders, serve alongside their peers, learn more about faith in worship designed specifically for them, and (of course) play all kinds of insane games. This year’s theme is Mt. Mayhem! We will explore Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and the “Be-Attitudes” Jesus taught us. Middle School Mayhem is always one of the best youth events of the year, and it can’t happen without volunteers! There are a variety of ways to get involved. We need people, lead crews, run game times, decorate the building, and more. To learn more and register, go to stlukesumc.com/students. EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM REGISTRATION NOW OPEN St. Luke’s Early Childhood Program (ECP) is a weekday, play-based program that creates opportunities through play, promoting the development of language, imagination, self-expression, problem-solving, and emotional growth. We are in session from 9AM-1PM Monday through Friday, September through May. Classes fill up quickly. Complete the registration packet at stlukesumc.com/ecp OR pick one up from the preschool office, located in the education wing of the church.

Prelude | Michael Conley, piano; Jim Butz, trumpet Welcome | Rev. Mindie Moore Opening Hymn | Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing #400 Affirmation of Faith | A Statement of Faith of the Korean Methodist Church, adapted Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross Leader: Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the one true church, apostolic and universal, whose holy faith let us now declare:

All: We believe in the one God, maker and ruler of all things, the source of all goodness and beauty, all truth and love. We believe in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, our teacher, example, and Redeemer, the Savior of the world. We believe in the Holy Spirit, God present with us for guidance, for comfort, and for strength. We believe in the forgiveness of sins, in the life of love and prayer, and in grace equal to every need. We believe in the Word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments as the sufficient rule both of faith and of practice. We believe in the Church as the fellowship, for worship and for service, of all who are united to the living Lord. We believe in the kingdom of God as the divine rule in human society, in the final triumph of righteousness, and in the life everlasting. Amen.

Glory to God | The Gloria Patri #70 Anthem | Praise to the Lord the Almighty | Chancel Choir; Dr. Jeff Rogers, Director Prayer Time and the Lord’s Prayer | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
