Gather with multiple faith communities for a Community Thanksgiving Service, hosted at St. Luke’s North Indy campus. We will join with various faith traditions through worship together, moments of prayer, and a sermon. We are also inviting those attending to bring travel-sized toiletries that will go to supporting the Winter Contingency Shelters for the unhoused. In this time of division and distance, this will be an experience of unity and compassion. There is no childcare available, but families are encouraged to attend.

LONGEST NIGHT SERVICE

DECEMBER 16 AT 7 PM | NORTH INDY

The holidays can stir a mix of emotions—joy, gratitude, and sometimes deep grief. In a world that often feels heavy—with division, loss, injustice, and uncertainty—it’s natural to carry sorrow into this season. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, struggling with strained relationships, facing loneliness, or simply feeling the weight of the world, you are not alone. This gathering offers space for reflection, prayer, and community as we seek comfort, healing, and hope together.

MAKE AN IMPACT

ANGEL TREE

DECEMBER 13 | NORTH INDY

Every year we come together to be angels by sponsoring and supporting hundreds of children and their families with Christmas gifts and household items. Donated gifts are collected and sorted by volunteers in preparation for our Angel Tree Shopping Day. On December 13 we invite the participating families to come to St. Luke’s where they can select the gifts for their families. Our Angel wings are expanding – from our own town to Tanzania. We are supporting Angel House Children’s home. You can help us by sponsoring a child, making a financial donation or by purchasing specialty selected items in the Connections gifts store. Purchase gifts for our local families and return them to the church by December 7th. To learn more about all of the opportunities and to help make Christmas a happy one for our neighbors, head to stlukesumc.com/angeltree

THANKSGIVING OUTREACH

NOVEMBER 27 FROM 7 AM - 1 PM | NORTH INDY

Due to the demand, we’re providing more Thanksviging meals than ever! We are now providing 1,200 meals, which means more volunteer slots have opened. Those opportunities include cooking and meal prep, meal assembly, home delivery driving, and serving meals at Cathedral Kitchen. And if you can’t serve, donations are always welcomed. Learn more and register at stlukesumc.com/thanksgiving
