Connections is run entirely by volunteers, and every purchase supports our community through Hub for Hope. We now also host the Asante Shop, which features merchandise from East Africa and supports Alvin, a 3-year-old orphan at Angel House in Tanzania. Mark Rouse is an Indianapolis native whose life and work reflect a profound interplay between resilience and creativity. Rouse was declared legally blind from diabetic retinopathy. His art not only expresses personal narratives but also conveys a broader message about health and awareness.

ST. LUKE’S ANNUAL CHARGE CONFERENCE

St. Luke’s Annual Charge Conference is the yearly meeting of the church in which we approve key parts of our budget, our members of administrative committees, a few other items of business, and hear our ministry report presented by our pastors. Everyone is invited to attend. Lunch will be served starting about 12:15 in the Great Hall before we move to Robertson Chapel. There is no cost, but we do need you to register at stlukesumc. com/charge2025.

Each year our church family comes together to support hundreds of local children and their families with Christmas gifts and household items. And this year our Angel wings are expanding to Tanzania as we support Angel House Children’s Home, which cares for orphaned children in the region. You are invited to check out our gift list and purchase items for a child, provide a home essential gift basket, or make a financial donation toward our Angel ministries. BROAD RIPPLE LIGHTS UP

Broad Ripple Lights Up is a holiday tradition in our community. Bundle up and get ready to meet some neighbors as we walk in this year’s parade and spread holiday cheer. We’ll meet at the Midtown Campus at 4:30pm and the parade begins at 5:30pm.
