EAST ART GALLERY - APRIL: FREDRICK GREEN

Trained as a printmaker at IU, with a degree in architecture from the University of Kansas, Fred is a self-taught painter using primarily acrylic paint on canvas, paper, or board. His interests include abstractions of places he has traveled, topical subjects such as the war in Ukraine and composition with landscape containing some sort of presents of human kind. His instagram is @Grefre1955 and includes his art, travels and friends! You can meet him today in the East Gallery.

PRAYER PACKETS OUTSIDE YOUR WORSHIP SPACE

Join our church in praying for Pastor Rob and St. Luke’s while Rob is on Sabbatical May 1 -Aug 1. Purchase a prayer packet outside of your worship space or online at stlukesumc.com/prayerpacket. The packet includes detailed instructions, a Daily Prayer Guide, and a Prayer Flag for you to write on and return after July 10. The Prayer Flag is similar to the prayer flags on Mt. Everest. DONATE your gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods at the Great Hall on May 15, 16, or 17 (no TV’s or large electronics - donate those at the electronics recycling container in the north parking lot)

Our Multi-faith group invites you to join them in this tour to learn from our neighbors and extend a hand of friendship. Rabbi Brett Krichiver, who has been a guest here at St. Luke’s, will explain the Reformed Jewish faith and give us a tour of the IHC Temple, which is located in Washington Township.
