ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL STYLE GUIDE

The St. Pius X school name, colors, fonts, and logos are important brands that need to be properly and consistently used in the marketing of the school. Recognition of these items is very important as we promote ourselves to a highly competitive market. Please observe the following “acceptable use regulations.”

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Communications Coordinator in the Office of Advancement. Please send all samples or proofs prior to printing for approval.

• The official school name is “St. Pius X Catholic High School.”

• “St. Pius X High School” and “St. Pius High School” should never be used.

• When “St. Pius X” is used in formal publications, on uniforms, or on signage the “X” should be included at all times. “St. Pius” and “SPX” should not be used on uniforms, shirts, etc. “SPX” and “St. Pius” are acceptable in casual or colloquial use.

CREST AND CHI-RHO

There are two versions of the school crest—the formal crest with the shield and the informal Chi-Rho without the shield. The informal Chi-Rho may be used in informal publications (flyers, posters, etc.) and clothing. Vector files of the logo may be obtained from the Communications Coordinator in the Office of Advancement.

• Either version of the crest should be displayed on virtually every print document or piece of clothing we disseminate. If in doubt, see the Director of Advancement.

• The crests must not be altered in any way either by adding, eliminating, or moving words or details.

• If you plan to use either version of the crest in one color, you may only use black, white, navy blue, or gold.
