Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends of St. Pius X,
On behalf of the entire St. Pius X Catholic High School community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and generosity throughout the past school year. It is with great pride and joy that we present the 2023-2024 Annual Report to our benefactors. This report highlights the vitality and strength of our community, made possible through your incredible generosity.
This year, we hosted our bi-annual Gala fundraiser, including class parties and a memorable evening in our school gym. Thanks to the combined efforts of our school and parent community, this event grossed over $340,000! We are deeply grateful for the time, talent, and treasure so many of you contributed to making this event a tremendous success.
Perhaps the most impactful example of your generosity was the completion of the Ring the Bells Capital Campaign. This transformative initiative enhanced our campus's safety and security, provided a much-needed renovation of our library, and significantly upgraded our athletic facilities. In April, we celebrated these achievements with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the St. Joan of Arc Field House and the St. Christopher Concession Stand at the Seaver Family Sports Complex.
Another first-time event of note was moving our graduation to the Georgia State Convocation Center. This state-of-the-art venue provided a beautiful setting, ample tickets for every family, and plenty of parking, ensuring a truly special and seamless celebration for our graduates and their loved ones.
Academically, we undertook a year-long re-accreditation process with the Office of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Atlanta through COGNIA. We are proud to share that we passed with flying colors. The accreditation team was especially impressed by our unwavering Catholic identity and our commitment to academic excellence.
Your generosity continues to make a profound difference, enabling positive and lasting changes across our campus. The Annual Fund remains our most important yearly fundraising campaign, and we offer prayers of thanksgiving for the more than 1,000 benefactors whose contributions sustain and advance our mission every day.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to our students' spiritual formation, the delivery of a rigorous and enriching curriculum, and a vibrant array of arts and athletic opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to prepare our students for success in college and to inspire them to live faith-filled lives as they strive for their heavenly reward.
We deeply appreciate your partnership in this mission as it continues to make a lasting impact on our students' lives. Together, we are building a brighter future for our students and strengthening the bonds of our beloved St. Pius X community.
Domini Sumus…We are the Lord’s.

RAISED $1,157,755 IN SUPPORT OF:
It was a grand night for fundraising at the “A Southern Charm Soirée” Auction and Gala on February 3, 2024. The biennial event made history by grossing over $340,000. The Gala offered both live and silent auctions, including getaways, exclusive experiences, professional services, and the much anticipated junior and senior parking spaces. The Live Auction was quite successful, selling the Hippo Lakes luxury African safari for over $7,000 and a private Mass with our beloved Father Robbie for over $2,000. The Fund-A-Need also created quite the buzz with on-the spot matches inspiring attendees to fund two athletic training golf carts and the renovation of the Mark Kelly Gymnasium guest restrooms.
The Gala Committee, co-chaired by parents Dawn Duggan and Michelle Mancini, sold more than 400 tickets and turned the Mark Kelly Gymnasium into a true Southern experience. Attendees enjoyed dancing to the music of The Stephen Lee Band and partaking in a southern dinner catered by Laura
Thompson Rogers '80 of C. Parks Catering. Beverage sponsors included the Pius-affiliated businesses of ASW Distillery, Q Mixers, Blue Ridge Spirit & Wine Marketing, Contrast Artisan Ales of Chamblee, and Constellation Brands. This year's soldout Bourbon Pull was a highlight of the evening and several happy winners took home bourbons worth over $100 per bottle.
Leading up to the Gala, four Class Parties were held in the private homes of Pius families. These events, co-hosted by fellow parents, not only raised additional funds for the Gala, they brought together the Pius community for warm and inviting evenings of fellowship, furthering the spirit that makes St. Pius X so special.
Thank you to the Gala Committee members, sponsors, Class Party hosts, auction donors, attendees, and the St. Pius X family for making this an evening full of southern charm!
Nearly 800 generous donors came together during the Ring the Bells Capital Campaign to transform our campus, significantly enhancing academics, athletics, and campus safety. The Flannery O’Connor Library was fully renovated to better serve students and faculty. The Seaver Family Sports Complex, built in 2011, saw major upgrades, including field and path lighting, new bleachers, a press box, and a concession stand with restrooms. A new main office and rear gates were added, ensuring a fully secured campus during the school day. The St. Joan of Arc Field House was constructed, housing classrooms, locker rooms, a strength and conditioning room, a training room, and offices.
This ambitious campaign, which was completed in 2024, was made possible thanks to the unwavering generosity of our donors. With heartfelt gratitude, we acknowledge those who pledged and contributed to Ring the Bells from November 1, 2019, to November 1, 2024. Donor categories reflect cumulative personal gifts (cash, check, or stock) and/or pledges, along with any matching gift payments received during this time. This is the final printed publication of donors.

Thanks to the generosity of numerous families and individuals through the years, St. Pius X Catholic High School is the beneficiary of $12,467,900 in endowments and awards. These funds include $10,060,428 held by the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia as well as the Archdiocese of Atlanta for the beneficial interest of the school. The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia also manages $2,407,472 in St. Pius X endowment funds, which were established directly with the Foundation and are excluded from the school's financial statements. In total there are more 90 individual endowed funds and funded awards that support tuition assistance, student and faculty enrichment, and the general operating needs of the school.
Endowments allow a gift to remain intact while only the interest from the principal is used for the stated purpose of the fund. Named funds of $25,000 or more are considered endowed, generally providing at least $1,000 in funding each year.
If you are interested in establishing a fund, please contact advancement@spx.org for more information.
The following scholarship was established in the past year. We thank the St. Pius X supporters who made this scholarship possible.

Mrs. Bowman is a six-time STAR Teacher, with four selections during her tenure at St. Pius X. The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia’s highest-achieving high school seniors and the teachers most instrumental in their academic development. O Lord Jesus Christ let your passion be my strength to sustain, guard, and protect me.
Let your wounds be my food and drink to nourish, fill, and invigorate me. Let the shedding of your blood cleanse me of all my sins.
Let your death obtain eternal life for me and your cross lead me to everlasting glory.
Let these constitute for me refreshment and joy, health and uprightness of heart.
