Fqpl 3 Women Preview V Souths

Our FQPL Women’s also kick off their season on Saturday Night at ‘The Summit’ against FQPL3 Metro Women’s newcomers, Souths United at 6pm.

After a long and competitive pre-season filled with impressive results including a 0-0 draw with UQFC and a 2-2 draw with Broadbeachboth clubs in higher divisions. Our women’s side will be raring to get their season off to a winning start to set the one for the year.

Having been somewhat competitive last season, Coach Lucas will be striving for a top 4 finish this year with even the possibility of promotion being discussed.

With several key players signed as well as retained, there is every reason to be optimistic in 2023 about our senior women’s side. Be sure to head down to ’The Summit’ as the u23s kick off at 4pm before the big game at 6pm ‘The CrossBar’ will also be open for all your food and beverage needs!

The Opposition

A club like Souths United are one you always have to respect, regardless of the level that particular team is at.

Souths have kept their cards close to their chest this Pre-Season, so the girls will have to be on their A-Game from the first minute.
