Fqpl 4 Men Preview V Tarragindi

Round one is finally here and our FQPL4 men kick of their season against last seasons FQPL5 rivals, Tarragindi Tigers at Esher Street at 6pm on Saturday night.

The lads have put in the hard work having come up against some well structured sides in pre-season albeit from lower divisions. Will also feel lifted after an Australia Cup 4-3 win against Kingscliff Wolves from FQPL3 South Coast and a dominant display against FQPL3 Metro side North Brisbane despite the loss.

Declan will want to ensure the side are up and ready to claim all 3 points in the season opener in what is sure to be a very tight FQPL4 league in 2023. For your weekly footy fix, be sure to head down to Esher Street Saturday Night for the game.

U23s also play their grand final rematch against Tarragindi at 4pm.

The Opposition

One of the few teams to push our men's side to the limit in 2022 having been the only team to take all 3 points from our men’s over the entire season.

Tarragindi will want to prove that they can still mix it with the top sides in FQPL4 despite losing key player, Tyson Walpole who ironically has signed for Springfield United for the 2023 season.
