After a very strong, competitive preseason the ladies are excited to get the season started this weekend.

We have been working hard this preseason to prepare ourselves for what I personally see as a defining season for women's football in our community. This year we have set goals and that starts by taking on Souths united.

Souths have always produced a strong women's program, they will be a strong opponent throughout the season, a team that may well see them in the top 4.

We approach this game with intent to put the rest of the league on notice. We are not here to have a go, we are not here to make up numbers but we are here to become a power house in women's football.
