Dhrriti Saharan Reddy practices yoga and she does Zumba to be in supreme shape Singer and Actor Dhrriti has an almost grueling discipline when it comes to following her fitness regime. She wakes up pretty early in the day and practices hatha yoga. She loves to bask in the sun and the sun is shining quite brightly on her quite literally. She has a penchant for nature and dance. She dances in the evening practicing some form of Zumba. That's a long day already and between all those things she also does her acting and singing work. That's what a very ambitious Dhrriti does in a day. The times are difficult and yoga truly can help us get our immunities up. This is something we should all look into.

We spoke to Dhrriti and we were amazed at her discipline and regime, "I do Hatha Yoga. I wake up early at around 6:30 am. I love to spend time looking at the rising sun for some time. It gives me perspective and also energizes me. I eat only twice a day. My brunch is between 11 am & noon and then dinner between 6 pm & 7 pm. I have a major sweet tooth. I eat sweets every day but in moderation. I really mind the quantity that I put of anything that I eat. I love to dance. So that’s a part of my everyday. I usually do Zumba, but some days just dance casually to my favorite songs. I don't think it's a strict regime but people tell me so. My body has gotten used to it and I feel out of place if I don't stick to it. Everyone should do some form of yoga and take sunrise. It's great medicine for the body all naturally. Our immunities need a major boost and that's a great way to go about it." She is a power performer and now we know what her secrets are for the energy that she brings and she is. Wishing you the best.

I took first place in the CPC Portreit Awards 2020 competition. I was in the top ten of the best photographers in Russian competitions: Black and white portrait of a child and Woman in a Hat - 35 awards. My photos were also in the Top 100 in the Portrait category at the Fine Art Photography Awards in 2021. I have a lot of fun participating in competitions, although with time I came to the conclusion that the most pleasant thing is striving for success, not success in itself. Model: Natalia Jęczkowska

HI, MY NAME IS

FABER Marco I’m living in Luxembourg and I’m 54 years old. I started photography again 4 years ago as I got a new camera for my 50th birthday. So I started taking photos about everything, nature, trains, pictures during holydays and and….. , but I didn’t found something who excited me until I asked a friend of mine, if I could take some pictures of her? I especially ask her because she had a lot of tattoos. She sad yes and so I started my first portrait and nude photography. We have been so excited about the results and I knew this is for me.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

@spotlessfashionmagazine

10 The first pictures I took were in color but I quickly started in BNW because there are more expression and drama expression in BNW. I also started taking photos in the studio with flashes and lights, but it is not easy when you start as an hobby photographer and your not understand a lot of handling your camera and the flashes so participated in some stages in photography at Yves Kortum, a Luxemburgish professional photographer. I learned a lot from him during night shootings in Luxemburg city, catch the light in a castle next to Gent (Belgium) and a stage in a private club called ELCH also in Luxemburg city. Every time with professional models and flashes or handle the natural light. During these stages he gave me a lot of instructions and also good advises about handling the camera and flashes and especially how to manage the natural light without flashes.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

11

He is still old school photographer and so he sad if you want to take pictures in black and white you are going to take them directly in BNW and not in color and working on the pc. You want to be photographer not computer scientist! So the advises are: choose the best light for your photo and install your model in the best position and to take care of the alignment of the photo, so you don’t have to work hours and hours on the pc to get a good picture. He’s also take a lot of BNW photos during his shoots For me Black and white are the colors of photography

I AM

Breonna a 25-year old photo model from Singapore. I am an independent singer since the year 2019. I have been a fine artist since the age of four. I have graduated in degree in Psychology with first class honours. With the passion to help the society in every way I can, I am an active volunteer in four organisations of Singapore.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

@spotlessfashionmagazine

II started up with cover songs on social media. I learnt recording and videography skills from contacts I got into, in order to grow myself further. Once I was confident, I started my own Youtube channel in 2019. My videos reached the audience well. I was recognised within the media in Singapore. In 2020, I was called by one of the media artists to be part of a Pongal festive show. I sang two songs in the show. Currently, times have been a challenge due to the pandemic but I am still working on Youtube to be consistent in my work. It is time to get back to action in concerts once pandemic improves. Since the age of four, I have been competent in Art and grew up to be an artist during my teen days. I improved my skills by self-learning and private classes. I enjoy doing a variety of fine arts such as painting, water colour, charcoal drawing and 3-D colouring. I am planning to start up my part time Art teaching for children in the coming years. Being a photo model, I have never regretted my choice. In 2019, I started my photo modelling journey. I was approached by a few photographers for photoshoots. I grew my portfolio with more photoshoot opportunities. Brand sponsors contacted me to be their model for their outfits, accessories and cosmetics. In 2021, I emerged as the face model for a Singapore brand, Scarlet V on their official website. Being a minority race in a mutli-racial country like Singapore is a challenge for Indian models. It is difficult for Indian models to expose themselves into the other community related modelling opportunities here. I did not take this as a fallback. I believed that I will be an exception if my work was of quality and recognition. I toiled hard by studying the variations of concepts and ideas of photoshoots. In 2021 and 2022, I improved with great effort into having captured by photographers for a myriad of concepts. I was not only a photo model for the Indian community but started working with Chinese, English and Malay teams. I got into a huge network of makeup artists, photographers, brand sponsors, videographers, and designers of all races in Singapore. Many of them were amazed and congratulated me for the barrier I broke as an Indian model in a multi-racial country. The feel of getting a wide range of opportunities left me contented. My presence reached to the media as I was a photo model and an independent singer. I was called for a few scenes by producers from the media. I am now looking forward to embark my journey into media in the future. Also, several photographers and stylists from India and Malaysia have contacted me to work with them when either one of us travel once pandemic has improved. Hardwork pays off. My two years of hard work and research into improving my content as got me opportunities out of Singapore too. I take this as a moral support to further my work internationally in the future.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

A myth goes by saying that beauty has no brains. I totally proved it wrong. As a model, I have obtained an Honours Degree in Psychology with first class. Also, I have upgraded to certification in education of special needs with a distinction and counselling with a high distinction. I believe that education does not end with grades alone. I put in my achievements into helping the society in needs. I am volunteering in the Movement for Intellectually Disabled in Singapore (MINDS), Singapore AntiNarcotics Association (SANA), Artribes and Mental Act Singapore. I have always had an interest in the special needs individuals and Art. I have combined both my academic skills in Psychology and Art talent into my volunteering. This way I create activities for these communities to a happy environment for them. I have always grown up to be a high achiever. I do best in everything I put my feet into as I believe that I am my own responsibility for my tasks. Many other models have worked with me to build up their recognition and exposure. The best moment for a model is to hear models, makeup artists, designers and photographers complimenting me for my improvements and taking me as a role model for their achievements. Doing many things at once is not simple. Being a singer, artist, volunteer, photo model, future media artist can be challenging but that is what I love. I love what I do and will keep doing better each time.

HELLO, MY NAME IS

Tanushree My name is Tanushree, I am a Delhi based fitness/body positively influencer and a bikini model. My journey began about 7 years ago and started off pretty funnily, where once my dad asked me come walk with him to a place which roughly only a km away, within the first 200m of walking I frantically felt the need to stop and gasp for air! And that was it! I couldn't do it anymore, struggling to walk gasping for breath, but the back story to all this unhealthy weight on me was due to a lot of reasons, two majorly being depression and being body shamed, so I finally decided that I wasn't going to let this take me down anymore.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

@spotlessfashionmagazine

18 My fitness journey started off as anyone's, I missed , I wanted to give up because there weren't many visible results, but I was very determined to do it and so I did. Fortunately I got the help of some very excellent fitness experts all through who helped me push my limits further and that eventually led me to take up weight lifting! Which by the way i absolutely love, and thankgod for all the trouble I went through to get myself started in this journey of fitness, because of which in the year 2018 I got a chance to be on a national TV show on discovery channel called the INDIA'S CITIZEN SQUAD, and ever since, there has been no turning back. I have collaborated with multiple brands and have been interviewed for magazines and fitness sites. I've also been called to many fitbey events as their guest of honour, and ofcourse these absolutely amazing shoots that' I've been asked to be a part of. My future goals are not too fancy but I certainly see myself as one of the top fitness/bikini models of the country which I am thriving for each day but that's my personal goal. My real goal is that I spread a message to all those who are out there trying to fight their inner battles, that it's ok to step up and be bold and vocal about your ideas and your passion, I myself being a patient of severe depression know how hard it is to come out off all this, but it's obviously not impossible, being absolutely focus driven and knowing what you truly want will help achieve the most intangible things, you just need to follow your heart with that little mix of mind. I also move forward with the agenda of spreading the awareness for the importance of health and fitness and the concept of body positivity and breaking the norms and normalising the so called societal "TABOOS"

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

My name is Fabiola Cetera, I am 23 years old and I live in Italy. I love animals especially dogs, I have a cat named Birba. Unfortunately, during this covid period my day is very limited, but I still try to keep myself busy, I go out with my friends and cook I like to make sweets. I have been a model for some magazines and other projects, I hope one day to be able to realize myself as a model. I have traveled to various places in Italy and in Greece I would like to introduce myself a little all over the world, I really like traveling. The love for photography has always been present since I was a child I started posing in 2016 as a self-taught person, initially with amateur photographers at the time I was very shy but today on the set they are quite the opposite. In my photo shoots I always try to tell something, a story. Posing has now become an integral part of my life, I couldn't do without it. Years ago I also tried with fashion shows and then I realized that I was more inclined to posing and started to devote myself entirely to that. Posing is an art you have to immerse yourself in the shots to be able to have a good understanding with the photographer to make your ideas coincide and also be inclined to do so. Would it surprise you if I told you that I didn't always like it aesthetically? Well yes, but over time I have learned to appreciate myself. "Accepting one's physical appearance is not so obvious, yet the body should be the temple of the soul, whoever lives in a body that does not accept must be a soul in turmoil. Yet to be beautiful on the outside, you have to work well from the inside. " I wish those who do not like to find their own path and well-being, and do not listen to the judgment of others .. by the way, imagine if we were all born the same .. what a monotony!

@spotlessfashionmagazine

24

Some time ago I tattooed an inscription that I care a lot that represented dark times for me and I hope it will give motivation or comfort to someone. Don't forget to love yourself in life nothing is easy but nothing is impossible The criticisms come mainly from social networks. Unfortunately, everyone on Instagram can now be models and appearing has become more important than being. Real models cannot be distinguished from fake ones and now the customer relies heavily on your Instagram account when he wants to get an idea about you, so for me it is a working tool. It saddens me a lot that depending on the number of followers you may have more or less chances to work. You may have no skills or experience in real life but you have a lot of followers on the platform so you are preferred to a better model, I don't think that's fair. I like to use Instagram the right way, sharing the good times but I'm not one of those who can't raise her head from the phone.

Kenisha dons many hats. Be it actor, anchor, musician, or entrepreneur. She does it all. But at heart, she is a musician and she is actually highly trained in western and Hindustani classical music. Music has always been her true calling. She started her vocal training in Western Classical under the very able tutelage of Jennifer D'souza- her first vocal coach. She trained with D'souza for over a year before enrolling herself in the very prestigious, state-of-the-art music academyTrue School of Music. There she trained under an international music teacher Miss. Andrea even performed live with her classmates.

Post this she went on to training in Hindustani Classical music in Gyan Ashram under her Guru Shri Paresh Jana whom she resumed taking personal classes from to fastrack her vocal growth and learn the nitty-gritty of Hindustani classical music in-depth. She parallelly started her YouTube channel called Kenisha Awasthi Official - where she covered many Hindi and English songs - some of which garnered millions of views. Her cover of the Late Shri Mukesh's classic Yeh Mera Deewanapan Hai- went viral and crossed 4 million views. Her haunting cover of Jaadu Teri Nazar got featured in many youth magazines and also got picked up by Radio City London where it played quite frequently and was loved by all the listeners. That truly was a path-breaking moment in her musical career and one she sees as something that gave her enormous confidence in her abilities.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

@spotlessfashionmagazine

27

As of 2022, Kenisha is all set to further her musical journey with her original singles. This year will see her release at least 5 originals that will have a unique sound and display a perfect fusion of western musical influences concerning the music production but purely Indian style of singing.

Kenisha's endeavor with her music is to carve a unique sound signature to her and show how Indian vocalists need not necessarily sing in English to display worldclass standards of musical prowess. She believes great music is universal, one that cuts through barriers of borders regardless of the language it's sung in or the nationality of the musician. Melodies and soul are beyond the confines of caste, creed, and country. With this resolve, she looks forward to experimenting with varied genres and collaborating with phenomenal musicians from India and across the world. She looks forward to furthering the musical legacy of her mother, celebrated playback singer Sapna Awasthi- the voice behind iconic hits like - Chaiyya Chaiyya, Pardesi Pardesi, Banno Teri Ankhiyaan, Katiyaan Karoon, etc to name a few.

It's not easy to follow a passion with your 9 to 6 job and work commitments but I have my own opinion on this matter which I realized after coming out of India in 2011. Passion does help to boost your creativity which you may feel missing by doing the same job every day. I do shoots only on weekends to maintain the correct work life balance. I also make sure I am learning and improving my skills set so I watch youtube tutorials and then I practice with my camera about best compositions, best settings, editing etc. There are so many master photographers who own very informative youtube channels. They explain step by step guidance if you are a beginner.

Collaboration with other artists i.e. Models, Makeup Artists, Designers, Brands etc also helps to boost some confidence and knowledge. I myself did so many free shoots in the start to build my own portfolio. Just have some patience when you start and take some time for your passion as you do for your job. My mantra "Learn - Practice - Execute and then Repeat again".

Kalari - Sutra

AWAKENING OF THE THIRD EYE BY ABHISHEK GOSWAMI @abhishekgoswami_photography

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

@spotlessfashionmagazine

36 This time I have planned to bring out this hidden treasure of Kalaripayattu via some interesting visuals. As like in every previous issue of the magazine, I have been privileged to choose the concept for the thematic photoshoot. So, in this issue I am presenting the oldest surviving martial art in India, i.e. “kalarippayattu” also known simply as “Kalari”, with a history spanning over 3,000 years.

Model IG: @ibreo.hari_ Makeup artist: @riseofthekraken Brand sponsor: shereenazade

I choose few distinctive features of this vast martial art to represent here in the very limited pictures like, hand to hand combat, hard contact weapon combat and the most specific feature, i.e. the Third Eye training in which the practitioner blind folded himself and practices. It was a great experience to work with the models/athletes under the mentorship of Tapas Das.

1. What moves/relevant information did you selected to depict in the pictures? When we have limited visual depiction for showcasing a huge amount of information, we have to choose wisely. We have to consider the most distinctive features of that knowledge/practice to express it all in and out.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

38

2. How dangerous it was as weapons were included in this shoot? When it’s supervised by an expert throughout the whole photoshoot process, then it’s safe for sure. Moreover, all the acts, movements and story are pre planned/scripted for the photoshoot.

3. How did you select the desirable angles, composition and lights to depict that information? A photographer has to observe keenly, to understand the best angle from where the given information could be displayed thoroughly. But the task here is to give it such a visual design form which should be aesthetically sound and eye catchy as well. In such cases, we can’t manipulate the position and posture of the subjects, so we have to find the best angle, perspective via focal length that we are using & proper depth of field. Now, lights should be implied in such a manner so that the subject and the action could be visually depicted desirably.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

4. How tough it’s for models/martial artists to perform in front of the camera? Well, it depends from person to person, but I like it most when models/martial artists are enthusiastic and ready to understand & co-ordinate with the photography team ; this time it went so smoothly as of all positive possible factors.

MY NAME IS

Eriiiiiiiita I mainly work as a model. I love photography that can express the real world even more attractively. This is the 7th year, when I wanted to take pictures of more different worlds, the world got an infectious disease and I couldn't take pictures as I wanted. I like seasonal flowers and trees, so there were times when it was very difficult to shoot them. Models cannot take pictures without a cameraman. Therefore, I succeeded in expressing myself by taking pictures myself without having to interact with people. I am excited to complete the photo as a single piece by myself. Now I can be both a model and a cameraman. By knowing the camera, I was able to discover the joy of shooting. I have a one-year-old daughter after giving birth. I've taken pictures of my life, but from now on I want to continue to live with her daughter and leave it as a living proof. And of course I would like to take a family photo including my husband. I hope that more people from all over the world will see a Japanese family through Instagram. Thank you for reading.

A model's portfolio is incredibly important, and past work, and is the first thing casting agents, brands, or designers will look at, in order to determine if they want to work with you.

What the pictures should look like will depend on the market you're targeting. No matter what market you want to work in, your portfolio should include a few headshots, just of your face from various angles, but if you're going for commercial modeling, make sure you include a decent amount of smiling shots, whereas any other type of model should have an equal or larger amount of straight-faced ones. Then make sure to include some full-length shots; agencies usually like some of these to be swimsuit shots, but again, it depends on the market. For glamour models, swimwear shots are clearly a must. Hold my finger and build your modelling career with me. Contact me @ 9650192813. Tapas Das (Mentor, Guide & Groomer) Owner - Dreams Come True - DCT Model Management & Spot'less Fashion Magazine

45 I take self portrait in Japan and use other wonderful portrait works in the world as reference. I am a mother of child and It’s been a year or so since I started to take photos and I could meet a lot of people because of it. On the other hand, I take landscapes sometimes and enjoy “four seasons” in Japan. I am still a beginner so that it is difficult to bring into focus sometimes and also hard to adjust exposure to take selfie in the room. However, with my friend (@hryphoto) supports me and gives me an advice for shooting and editing so it is fun to create my works with him. For last, I am thankful for sharing at your great gallery.

I’m @hryphoto who edited this photo. Also I am an ambassador of Adobe KK beside shooting portraits. The things I care for editing are that contrasts of light and shadow. I emphasize it in the pictures for my expressions and hard to do it because I would like to make it more three dimensions in the pictures. This time, there are many black and white pictures so it is difficult for me to edit because there are no colors of course so that I had to think about the balance of light and shadow for editing. However, I am supposed to think that I could edit this cool and that was what I intended.

HI, I AM,

Prathamesh Bodakhe a fashion photographer, based in Pune, Maharashtra. Also Co-founder of Studio Artisa, which specialises in Fashion, Commercial, E-commerce, interior and product photography. I picked up my first camera in the year 2015, which was a Sony Cybershot camera. My first few months with that camera were pretty confusing and frustrating for me, as I didn’t have any technical knowledge about how cameras work and what are the various things to be kept in mind and what parameters to set while clicking that shutter button. In that period, I used to click portraits, cars, animal, birds, whatever seemed interesting. I had only one goal, that was to go out with my camera and come back home with atleast a bunch of good clicks.

SPOT'LESS FASHION MAGAZINE MARCH 2022 ISSUE 51

@spotlessfashionmagazine

52

Fast forward to a few more months, I started to get the hang of different modes in the camera, especially the manual mode. That was the time when I taught myself the basic info about things like ISO, Shutter speed and composition. I also got to know that there’s more to photography than just to click that shutter button. I learnt that skills related to softwares like Adobe Photoshop were really important, so, again, I started to teach myself how to do basic color grading and tweak the photo to my liking.

The graduation program I took, started in the year 2018, from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, specialised in Fashion Photography. This program ended recently in the year 2021. In these 3 years, I gained a lot of knowledge and experience with Photography itself, along with different aspects of media including mass communication, filmmaking, journalism and sound engineering. It was during my college period when I actually gained formal experience in fashion Photography while working with different artists. I worked my communication skills at this time, because this is the first thing that is observed by anyone who I’ll be approaching. Rejection is something I faced a lot during this time due to the lack of professional experience. This time was mostly spent in making more and more contacts, and refining my skillset. In 2019 I did on of my first field work, that was for the Satara Marathon Hills. It was quite a handful of an experience. This was before the whole world was struck with covid. The Covid time brought a huge struggle for me, as I was on fashion shoots, which were arranged by my institute, and also was working to develop my portfolio.The lockdown came and we were left with no option other than to stay locked inside our homes. But at the same time, I didn’t have any other option than to complete my portfolio, so, along with my fellow Photographers, I managed to complete my portfolio and all the necessary assignments. I’ve been working with my team from the last 1 year. And we’ve been working and gaining more and more experience in our field. And we are really excited for what this journey caters to us in the future.

55 Hailing from one of the oldest cities in the world Banaras, didn’t keep my away from the magic of movies. The constant urge to create was so innately and deeply rooted that I never missed an opportunity to showcase my talent from the very beginning years of my childhood. Be it dancing on the tunes of ek do teen or passionately idolising and imitating my all time favourite actress Madhuri Dixit ji or watching movies and imitating scenes and dialogues of EVEN male actors, which strangely made me very happy.

While growing up my in all girls boarding school life in Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, perhaps one of the most well reputed public schools of India helped me further establish my talent like never before; Dramas, Dancing, choreographing, singing and simultaneously playing sports and developing my skills as an athlete. I don’t think I realised the strength of this foundation up until now, the confidence to face adversity, rejections and dealing with failures and naysayers with insurmountable amount of dignity. A rebel with a cause wrapped up in true sportsmanship spirit. If you get booted to bench then be ready for your number to be called. That’s what I took from sports that has stayed with me till today. They say where there is a will there is a way. God heard my prayers. My family decided to shift to bombay, our new home, MUMBAI. My dreams started to look more approachable, far real, how soon one becomes hopeful, and with that faith in my heart, I decided to turn every single dream into tangible reality. And so, I decided to start the only way any actor should, by studying the art itself; attending workshops, doing plays, it was 2019, that second chance, my second birth. I met dreamers, believers, artists, mad hatters, weird, strange, awkward, talented, foolishly brilliant humans, was I watching my different self in each one of them? Maybe that’s what it feels like to witness a miracle. Together we learnt that the process of learning is endless ; acting, dancing, singing is like any academic subjects. You just have to study it. Theatre participation had the most magnificent impact on my confidence and further upping my skills as a performer. I am less shy, more vocal, interactive than I have ever been in my life. This coincidentally has a direct impact on my social media presence, connecting with more than 12 thousand people and more with every passing day, entertaining them with my honest self has only been liberating and fulfilling. I hope I continue to do so for as long as I live. However, this is just the beginning…picture abhi baki hai mere doston. Stay tuned!

When the pandemic hit us hard in 2020, I lost my job. I couldn't find a job for myself, meanwhile I turned my passion into my part time profession, i.e. Modelling. It was initially challenging for me because I had no contacts in this industry or a godfather to assist me. My friend who is my manager now has assisted me in capturing the photographs and taught me about the modelling profession. After 6 months, I began to receive interest from photographers and brands for collaboration. Today, I have brands and photographers that have collaborated with me several times. It's been a rollercoaster ride for me, and I'm proud of what I've accomplished. I would like to thank the brands, photographers, and manager who helped me in becoming CURVYVARSHA, THE FASHION MODEL.

To become a photographer was never in my thoughts.However,I believe that every great dream begins with a dreamer. Back then as a child growing up, i was imaginative, conscientious and dedicated of what I was doing. Passion was the fire that has lightened my way. I have never put limitations on my abilities. But instead I embraced all the opportunities in discovering what the world has to offer. My passion for learning new ideas has shaped and moulded in achieving my dreams. My journey was a ride of roller- coaster. Seeing my ups,my downs and seeing what it took me to get where I am today has changed my life for better.The road for success was never easy for me,but with hard work, drive and passion.I motivate myself that to be a champion,you have to see the big picture. It's not about losing or winning but it's about everyday hardwork and the zeal to strive on the challenges. Patience and passion are the only keys to reach stars and the secret ingredient that drives excellence in every aspect of fields. If you can't figure out your purpose, figure out your passion,or your passion will lead your purpose. And my passion was to captured beautiful moment in a frame. When I recall my past years,how much impact was in my life after attending church and social gatherings where different skills of talents are presented ,then I start learning that talent is the form of extra ability that exist in everyone. And one should go extra miles in developing to become the best version.

67 As God says,"your gift to God is develop as much of that talent and ability as you can in this lifetime". Although time has passed,even now I can picture myself how painful was the moment to see my mom shedding her silent tears and being enormous patience until the end of her life. She was the one who incite me to dream of success in future and make me feel that acquiring degrees or formal education will not make me extra ordinary unique. But to be at the top, one should follow their passion .

However, today I have accomplished that level of work and I am proud of my capabilities. There are many things I 've wanted that I haven't always gotten. But,I have a great satisfaction in the blessings from my parents ,who instilled a great work ethic in me both physically and professionally. Through keeping my eyes on my goals, embracing the pain and experiencing the flow of each phases of life I could finally achieved. So,for all the dreamers stay true to yourself as it is the only one determining factor that will set your work stand out from the rest. Don't waste your energy focusing on someone else's dreams, but find your inner passion where you excel and conquer the world .

Subhankar Ghosh a freelance photographer by passion and a full time manager in a renowned company by profession. I am based out of Kolkata, West Bengal, IN but have a pair of travelling pants which take me to cities and towns all over the country either in the pursuit of Photography or Bread and Butter. The gears I use to click pictures include a Sony Alpha 7 Mark III, which I acquired and upgraded from a Nikon 5300 in January 2020. The lenses I prefer using are a Sony 85 mm 1.8 Prime and a Sigma 28-70 mm 2.8 for the Alpha 7. I also have a backup in FUJI XT 100 with a 23 mm 1.4 Prime lens which works equivalent to a 35 mm. Regards to my photography style, I prefer working under Natural Lights surroundings anyday over the artificial light setups in Studios. It’s NOT that I don’t like artificial lights. They are definitely of immense help at times. It’s just that I am too lazy or find it a hassle to carry and mount/dismantle them. Hence, I prefer using them mostly in Studios.

70 I chanced upon the genre of Portrait, Glamour, Fashion and Boudoir Photography in 2018 when I attended the first workshop of renowned photographer Shivaji Sen. He has been a person whom I look up to, have immense respect and love and been a mentor figure whenever I needed some insights regards to my work. Since then, I have come across and worked with many photographers, some of them being renowned names like Rafique Sayed and Manoj Jadhav other than peers and friends, observed and learnt from their individual styles and approaches which further helped me hone my own skills. I draw inspiration from the works of Masters of the genre, contemporary artists, peer groups, photography journals, painters and even cinema. And I am eager to learn more. The journey had been enriching, fulfilling, insightful and helped me grow as an individual. I remain immensely grateful to all the people I look up to, who helped in my work, the models and even people in general whom I have shot with…with whom I share a warm working relationship as well as close friendly terms and also some detractors and naysayers who keep me doing some soul searching every now and then.

I did gain some recognition in this journey by being in touch and able to work with some real great Masters and Talents, got accepted in Vogue Italia (7 times till date) and magazines like Luxia and Marika. I take each day as it comes. Success as well as Challenges are there in every sphere of life, this being no different. I have been fortunate enough to know and meet people who have appreciated my work, approached me to work with me and the circle has grown that way. In my last 3 years into Photography I have hardly resorted to any paid promotions on social media. I did try them out in the initial phases when I was trying to grow my audience but I didn’t find much value out of it personally. Then everything occurred organically and I couldn’t have asked for more. My posts get engagements…sometimes up to my liking, sometimes not. But that’s okay. Not every time social media algorithms work in your favour. One needs to stay patient and keep creating good content with like minded people. And I am fortunate to be working with a circle of people whom I love working with or look forward to working with. And that circle keeps growing over the passage of time. I wish to venture more into the exciting world of Photography, try to create a niche segment for my work, experiment and create more. I do love shooting Boudoir, however, I also enjoy shooting Portraits, Fashion & Glamour and even take to the Streets. It is a learning curve which keeps growing and expanding. I must say I am enjoying the curves, literally. The more I learn, the lesser I know.
