Sandhya Shetty born and brought up in Mumbai to a South Indian Family Her childhood and her foundation is of love, simplicity and aspirations of excellence Her father Ratnakar shetty instilled the passion for hardwork and honesty towards life and work and to create a network of Good people around to learn and grow positively in life Her mother Laxmi shetty graced her the power of Simplicity and creativity Her life is a never ending saga of Achieving new goals and newer dreams to follow and grab every opportunity to shine and learn from experiences of life and people around her She loves challenges and thrives on versatility Her thirst for exploring multiple aspects of life has given her active multiple careers of acting, Modelling, karateka and an International Speaker

The most pivotal point in my acting career is my Debut in Hindi OTT Dharavi Bank and Debut in Malayalam Film Corona papers Both the films gave me that leap to accelerate my acting career and be noticed as a versatile actor In Dharavi Bank I play suniel shettys daughter Parvathy who is a simple tamilian woman and a mother of a little girl In Corona papers directed by priyadarshan I play a tough, mean top cop and its a absolute contrast Acting space got very exciting and challenging at this point of her life and Career

Sandhya loves travelling so after finishing her last shoot schedule in kochi she hopped into the car and drove from Kochi to Kodaikanal for a 2 day holiday and to rejuvenate herself after a hectic 45 days shooting schedule in Kochi for her Film " Corona Papers" She loves spontaneity and enjoys surprises and really thrives on unplanned journeys

Her inner geek jumps into action for meticulate planning A borderline geekish feeling for perfection or rather to plan to perfection which sometimes is such a contrast to her being spontaneous This is a sign of she being a perfect "Geminine"

The perfect vacation?

Sandhya loves to travel and for her its important to have fun and relax during her vacation then to look and plan a perfect vacation. She loves to flow and enjoy different things and just explore and be happy. Vacation for her is rising early to a beautiful sunrise having amazing food and listening to lot of good music. Exploring a place is something she enjoys and walking around and meeting new people also excites her

If you could change something in world what would it be?

World is a beautiful place and if two thing I could change is poverty and Education Everybody feeling happy, literate and comfortable could make such a beautiful world

Sandhya can really cook well and drape a saree in flat 2 minutes which really surprises people

DO I REALLY NEED A MODELLING PORTFOLIO ?

A portfolio is the most important investment in model's future A good portfolio can promote you fantastically; it can scream out personality, show your versatility and simply ‘sell’ you to any client It can also be a set of really plain, average photos that are not presenting you in favourable way and might not get any attention on castings.

Top high fashion agencies do just require 4 simple shots, a head shot, one head shot with a smile, and two full body shots - one taken from the front and one profile Modelling industry is a business and only the best candidates, matching strict requirements of the agency and promising future profit, will get through with simple shots

Those big agencies will invest in such new faces and their portfolios, they have resources for that as well as vastly developed network of photographers and creative teams willing to use fresh faces in their photo-shoots New face in high fashion agency is not being paid for modelling during this period, she/he is simply building up the model book. It can take months before paid work comes up. Quite often some costs that agency incurrs at the beginning, are deducted later from the earnings of a model. Most of commercial agencies however will require a portfolio from new model. Commercial market covers a wide range of products, so the more looks you can present the better for you.

Building up your portfolio is beneficial not only for yourself and your ambitions but it will enhance the way an agency will look at how versatile and committed you are. Models who can only master one pose and facial expression will not get themselves anywhere in the competitive modelling industry. Agencies need to see your flexibility, and above all your passion. It will also give you a boost of confidence, the feeling of professionalism and awareness of what you are able to do on the set

The quality and style of your portfolio depends on the people you choose to work with. Great minds create amazing results! It is the passion and experience of that team that will complement your performance in creating fabulous model book. They should advise you of the most appropriate type of modelling for you and carry out the makeup, styling and photography accordingly. For example commercial shots will be more natural and smiling, whereas fashion shots more sophisticated and edgy When it comes to portfolio, the quantity does not mean quality. It is better to have 15 striking images of yourself than 100 average ones. They should include both head shots, half and full body shots. The process of production of images should always be followed by the post-production A good professional photograph demonstrates your attitude and skill and may make an agency or a client look at you for few crucial seconds longer, give you that small but important advantage over competition.

So, don’t go for unprofessional amateur photographers to save your money. Invest well in your portfolio and start-up your career in the modelling industry.

I am Sandro Gherbassi. I was born in La Spezia, Liguria 55 years ago, where I currently reside. I have had a passion for photography since I was a boy.

I love to trace the beginning of my shooting back to watching the famous movie Blade Runner by Ridley Scott.

Seeing Jordan Cronenweth's photography on the big screen electrocuted me. Seeing the creative use of artificial light marked me in my stylistic choices always directed toward the search for somewhat creative lighting. Later, the discovery of Steve McCurry's portfolio marked another milestone in my photography with a sharp turn to portraiture, also preeminent in my travel photography. New technologies related to lighting, see new external flashes that are increasingly powerful and portable, have allowed me to combine these my two passions, the creative use of light and portraiture, allowing me to create sets with many lighting points even outdoors. As a lifelong Nikon enthusiast, perhaps thanks to McCurry , I went from cameras completely manual like the never forgotten FM2, loaded with the beloved Fuji Velvia, to the new mirrorless. While achieving much personal satisfaction in portraiture, one of my photos was judged the best in a well-known national award, with a photo to be considered landscape, which depicted a mussel farm at work set in the context of the Gulf of La Spezia.

The world of photography and digital arts is a constantly evolving industry, and for many artists, it can be both rewarding and challenging. Throughout my journey, I have encountered various struggles and obstacles, but I have also experienced many fulfilling achievements. I first discovered my passion for photography and digital arts during my teenage years. I was always fascinated by the way that images could be manipulated and transformed to create something entirely new. I began experimenting with photography and graphic design on my own, learning through trial and error, and practicing as much as possible. Despite my initial enthusiasm, I struggled to gain recognition for my work. As a self-taught artist, I lacked the formal training and connections that many successful photographers and digital artists possess. I often found myself competing with more established artists who had a stronger reputation and a larger following. However, I refused to give up on my dream. I continued to hone my skills and develop my unique artistic style. I pushed myself to learn new techniques and to experiment with different mediums. I also began to reach out to other artists and to participate in online communities where I could receive feedback and connect with other creatives.Over time, my hard work began to pay off. I was approached by clients who were interested in commissioning my services for their own creative projects and it was an incredible opportunity to showcase my work alongside theirs. It was a truly humbling experience to be recognized by my peers and to see my art on display.

Despite these successes, I have also faced many challenges throughout my career. One of the biggest obstacles I have encountered is the need to constantly adapt to changes in the industry. With technology evolving at such a rapid pace, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest trend and techniques. I have had to invest a significant amount of time and resources into staying current with the latest tools and software, as well as attending workshops and conferences to learn from other professionals in the field.

Despite these challenges, however, I remain deeply committed to pursuing my passion for photography and digital arts. I believe that the rewards of creating something truly unique and beautiful make all of the hard work and struggles worth it. And, with the constant evolution of the industry, there are always new opportunities to learn, grow, and push myself creatively. Looking back on my journey so far, I am proud of all that I have accomplished, but I am also excited for what the future holds. I know that there will be many more challenges and obstacles to overcome, but I am confident that I have the skills, passion, and drive to succeed.

Ultimately, my journey in the photography and digital arts industry has taught me the value of perseverance, hard work, and dedication. I have learned that success in this field requires a willingness to take risks, to learn from failure, and to always push oneself to grow and evolve as an artist. And, most importantly, I have learned that the most rewarding aspect of this industry is the ability to express oneself creatively and to connect with others through the beauty of art

I started modelling after gaining the courage to apply for uk calander girls last year, I had a baby the year before this and felt this is a great way to regain my confidence and meet new people. I made it to the finals and through as a reserve which was a great achievement. In between modelling I'm also studying for my bachelor of arts in architecture and design in London and I absolutely love drawing and painting.

I feel I've been really lucky throughout my journey with modelling in the sense that i have really met fantastic people, been to great locations, i've done things slightly out of my comfort zone but enjoyed every minute of it, modelling has brought out a new found confidence and love for my body, which i personally found I lost after having children. I love the creative aspect each individual brings and the fact that no 2 shoots are the same and I can't wait to shoot more varied styles.

Recently I haven't been shooting as much as I would like but I have been needed elsewhere my child recently became very poorly and was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) which is a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow along your nerves. The tumours are usually non-cancerous but may cause a range of symptoms from sezuires to cognitive and learning difficulties, it's a condition that is not really heard of or known about, luckily there is alot of research being poured into finding more about this condition and hopefully a cure, however currently they don't have one. The Childhood tumor trust are also an incredible charity and if you have the time please look at all the amazing things they do.

My name is Larisa Liebner, I'm 32 years old. I tend not to define myself as a blogger, an influencer, or a model, you name it. I used to work as a lawyer and after I moved to Switzerland, I had to find myself again in a completely new environment. Such as something, I'd like to do. I was interested in makeup and fashion and started posting on Instagram my makeovers and new looks. Back then, some looked hilarious. It 1st started out doing drone pictures back in 2000 for work, then I was doing ariel pics of city scapes and was selling them, which wasn’t to bad, but I was running out of city’s to shoot. A close family friend asked me to do a Christmas shoot for her family so I started to doing family and baby pictures. During one of the shoots one of the daughters asked my if I could do some pictures for her Instagram, and that's where it started, shooting models and it just grew from there. In the beginning it was tuff to get models to shoot because my portfolio was lacking models and followers. The girls that model look at your profile and see if your work is good, do you edit well, is your lighting good? I do a really quick turn around as far as getting the file to them so they can pick for the shoot. The models would text each other to how it was to work with me, and if I was professional, Once I started getting really pretty models for your portfolio it's easier to get models to shoot. In the beginning I was doing shoots for free, then as I got more established I could start charging. A lot of the models want to be paid and I get it, so most of the time I won't shoot them. I don’t think the models realize how much time the photographers spend setting up a studio, and the equipment runs over 10k between the camera, props, renting studios and the lighting. If the models agree to do TFP (Trade for pics) I will usually do it. The thing that really bothers me is setting up a time to shoot, blocking out that time slot in the day, trying to confirm a day or 2 before the shoot and they ghost you. They never call and never show. I don’t know the group of models that are growing up these days but some of then have no manners, and no respect for people's time. Most of the models take it serious, but there always a couple out there that are rude and they get crossed of my list and I would never shoot them, ever. Right now I stay pretty busy shooting during the week and mostly on weekends.

Ihave always had a passion for light, so at one point of my life I decided to learn how to speak trough it and how to wright trough light, and that’s photogrphy, i.e. writing with light Than I increased my degree in maths with a degree at Roberto Rossellini Highschool and many speclialization courses in lights management. Using the technical notions and the precious experience given by the expert photographers and professors known during the learning years, I started to build my portfolio according to my preferences, up to keeping lessons as a theacher for prestigious clients as the Lazio Region. 7 years ago I have loved photgraphy as an instrument to express my vision of the world trough images generated by a camera, now I consider it as a way to pursue a profession keeping my artistic vein always alive

Photpgrafy allows me to connect matematical ratios and artistic vision, like a link between brain and heart, money and art. I started shooting sport events, and even now, that I have got my personal studio, this passion has not faded: I shoot horse races, fighting and dance contests, but I also added fashion shows, foodphptpgraphy and social events such as weddings, parties, birthdays, religious ceremonies Despite it all, I give my best in portraits, where, close in artistic concentration in my studio, I can play with light to model bodies in a non-trivial way and pull out from male and female bodies the beauty of the shapes and the mathematical proportions that underline them. I love catching and infusing something personal when I shoot, both in my studio and open air

I think that photography is an art that allows both the photpgrapher and the model to have a very deep understood and to create something intimate and particular One of the features that I mostly appreciate of the job I have chosen is the complete freedom of thinking and realizing a project. Infact who trusts me, already knows my style and blindly trust me during the shooting and also during the post producion. Here is a selection of pictures of one of the best model I shot this year. With Sara, we have worked in my studio to realize the best light background.
