I was

born in Punjab, India in a very traditional family. Owing our own schools in India , my parents have been inclined more towards my education and wanted me to be an Engineer. Modelling for them was a dark world. But today here I am working as a freelancer model in Toronto. I started my journey from a photoshoot in India. This happened a couple of months before I came to Canada in 2016. My photoshoot in India was more to fulfil my own interest of facing the camera since I thought I can never have this chance of being a Model. I flew to Canada for my further education in Mcmaster University to study Engineering and Business. I had always been a very studious kid. But my love for my passion was something I could never ignore and was there deep inside me from the time I was in India. After completing my education in Mcmaster University I had a thought to just search for the modelling industry in Toronto and I came across this FB page Toronto models. I sent them my photoshoot rather portfolio pics i got clicked in India. And here I was walking my first fashion show as a model in Toronto. My journey never stopped then. I shot for more than 50 bridal vendors in Toronto. Walked the ramp for various fashion weeks, had been featured on the blog of Must Be Kismet. From here I had built a decent enough profile on Instagram. I guess it was my social media presence that in 2019 Dec a punjabi music video director cane across my profile and I got my first music video as a lead model. I have been featured in 5 music videos. And now am focussing more to polish my acting skills and if my hard-work and destiny favours me I would love to work as an actor as well. I feel truly blessed and still enjoying my journey in industry and excited to see what comes next. You can connect with me on instagram @shaheenbakshi

I was

always asked around my hometown why I never considering being a model because of my appearance. So one day, it really came by itself. I was invitet on a shooting with famous photographer in Novi Sad. Out of curiosity, I said yes. Although my posing was far from perfect, I ended up with some really nice shots. After that, I was asked if I would like to participate on a beauty pageant. I ended up as third, still I was very proud of myself, as it was big step for a young girl. That`s how it all started. I begin shooting for makeup artists, and working with local photographers for my portfolio. Once I did few good shootings, and felt confident enough I signed up for casting and ended up getting accepted. That was my stepping stone to taking over modeling as serious career. After

some time, my agent contacted me with happy news that I was booked for India. I was both thrilled and scared. Going so far from home and on a longer period of time requires a bit of courage for someone so young. When I arrived all was different than my country, people, culture, language. It still confusing how something this big can happen to me! It was all still unreal. On few first test shootings I really came out of my shell. I started getting accepted from castings, which boosted my energy and self confidence even more. In the end all has been good, and I understood stress can`t bring anything positive. So here I am today, preparing for future contracts, strong and ready to take on the world! It is just important to have good team behind your back, as for me it was all possible because of my agent Jelena, and mother agency Novo Lice. So just go after you really want, and amazing things will be waiting for you!

Rinku Shah

,the founDer of Fitness2Flash started off with very humble beginnings. She started working at a very early age of eighteen, to support her family. Before becoming an entrepreneur by starting Fitness2Flash in 2015, she spent most of her professional life in hospitality and cus, tomer service. Through her struggles of juggling professional and personal life, she realized the importance of overall well-being and started off on her own health and fitness journey, which in-turn fuelled her desire to help others struggling with their health. Fitness2Flash initially started off as a WhatsApp group but has now grown into a website and a Facebook community page with 150k followers across the globe. Rinku’s goal as a health coach remains to encourage Women to take care of their health.. In general, women tend to put themselves last while prioritizing family and everything else before their own health. F2F, under Rinku’s leadership, works on a daily basis towards this goal, and to bring health and fitness to all. This past year has been challenging to all in more ways than one.. And health became a priority in a mighty way owing to the situation around. Rinku emphasizes that this isn’t the time to try out risky workouts/ experiment with diets. Instead, nows the time to stay consistent with a routine and build health and immunity the best way possible, from home. Here are few simple tips on a healthy diet.. Ensure you are following a balanced diet. Make sure your plate includes: -Protein - chicken /eggs/fish/dals/paneer/tofu -Carbs- grains/veggies -Fats - olive oil, avocado, nuts -Limit / avoid sugary foods, fried foods, processed & packaged food. Stick to portion control, balance your plate, chew your food well and slowly and progress from there. The key is to keep this sustainable. And what better than home cooked food? Stay active, exercises at home ... This has benefits that are otherwise never highlighted, like Workout at your convenient time No need to worry about who is watching you go crazy, sweating it out! Wear anything comfortable, without worrying about appearance! Save time on travel (to the jogging track/gym) Simple body weight exercises should form a part of your routineSquats Lunges Push ups Planks Missing your run outdoors? Sweat it out with skipping or high intensity training at home. Don’t let your health take the backseat for want of equipment or space. Just put in the efforts and challenge yourself daily. Spend time meditating. Lately, we all are stressed, without even realizing we are taking on so much in our minds.. Try and manage that stress by yoga, meditation or taking up a hobby to keep your mind busy.. Stress can really negatively impact your health, so do the best you can to manage it. Also,u setting this routine at home is a great way to encourage your family to join in and get the kids involved too. Rest assured, you are doing something great for the whole family’s health. I have

starTed my journey 5 years back from Kolkata. I was into dancing and from childhood wanted to become an actress but to grew up in a conservative bengali family I knew my family will never support this dream. So I started practicing acting secretly. From the childhood I was very expressive And I used to enjoy dance drama or stage performances in my school. I loved to watch different kind of movies from childhood n used to mimic the characters infront of the mirror. When I was in my high school I understood that I want to become an actress and this is the thing I enjoy the most. I can take any hurdles for this profession still I can’t leave it because somehow I love to live so many characters within me Hence I have moved to Mumbai without my family’s permission holding 5 thousand rupees in my pocket and 1 month rent where I was staying in Oshiwara. In earlier days it was challenging for food and survival without anyone’s support so I started going to surat (Gujrat) for print shoots though it was really hectic n didn’t find much good coordinator. They used to charge more than a half of my remuneration as I was new so didn’t know anything about the budgets. My 1st break was in Ghayal once again In the direction of sunny deaol. I have played a very small roll of Renu but it has taken me to a genuine circle then I started movie and tvcs audition though I was always been rejected cause I was not that well maintained in showbiz world. Then I have cracked 2 tvcs one is airtel wynk music and 2nd one is Nivea. I have started trying for south Indian movies and my 1st Tamil movie was a dance based movie with pravu deva’s younger brother nagendra Prasad and other coactor. From there I have started my career in south and have done 16 brand shoots and telugu movie ‘shukra’ for Amazon prime , ‘idhe ma katha’ with director guru Pawan and my current project is ‘on n off ’ series in 5 languages. And I believe I have just Started, I have to go long way . Of course it was not a smooth journey, I have seen lots of ups and downs, I hv been rejected from so many auditions and after selection from few projects too. I have lost money and found people to not keep their words ,found lots of hurdles and difficulties sometimes without work but my one n only strength was my patience and then I have got some best people who are genuinely in love with the art and very rare in this industry. I didn’t get inspired by a particular actor ,I can say many of them inspired me even I take inspirations from all of the actors who r talented and trying their best . I believe we shouldn’t forget our goals for Depression, hard times or anything else.this are the part of life or any other professions. Life holds special magic for those who dare to dreams. Thank you

22 1. Post consistently (and at the right times) This might sound obvious, but consistency counts on Instagram. The common thread between many of the most-followed accounts? Their feeds are filled with fresh content. Making a point to publish daily is a good starting point for getting Instagram followers. The concept here is simple: the more content you publish, the more opportunities you have to be shared and discovered. We’re not saying to prioritize quantity over quality, but simply ensure that you’re committed to growing your presence.

Ways to increase I

2. Initiate conversations and respond to comments So much of getting more Instagram followers depends on your activity on the platform. In other words, you can’t just passively post and expect traction from the algorithm. You need to engage with others–followers and non-followers alike.

©spotless fashion magazine issue may 2021

3. Craft more compelling captions Again, most people follow accounts because they want to engage in some way, shape or form. That means you need to inject some creativity into your Instagram captions. For example, consider the following caption formats which result in replies: Question-based posts, Recommendation requests, Personal stories, Tag-a-friend posts, Photo-sharing posts. From questions to humor, using captions effectively is the perfect way to encourage activity on your posts. You can likewise couple the themes of your captions and visuals to capture viewers’ attention and get them talking. 4. Optimize your Instagram bio for new followers Your Instagram bio might not seem like much of a big deal. But consider that it’s often the first piece of your profile that any potential follower will see. 5. Promote your Instagram presence beyond Instagram Getting more Instagram followers means promoting outside of the platform itself Let’s say your Instagram presence is lacking, but you do have a decent amount of email subscribers, web traffic or a following on another network. If so, you need to leverage your followers elsewhere and find ways to funnel them to Instagram. promote instagram via emai Heck, cross-promoting your Instagram to followers on Twitter or Facebook is also fair game. The takeaway? If someone follows or subscribes to you elsewhere, they should be happy to follow you on Instagram. 6. Make a point to publish Stories and new content formats Instagram is and has regularly been rolling out new features, and marketers should make a point to follow the platform’s up-and upcoming formats. For example, Stories started as a sort of competitor to Snapchat. Now they’re arguably the platform’s most popular feature. The benefits of frequently publishing stories are two-fold. Not only do you “skip the line” of your followers feeds by showing up on their homepage every time you post a new Story, but you also remind them that you’re regularly creating content. That’s also why features as IGTV and the new Instagram Reels should also be on your radar. Keep an eye on the official Instagram business blog for more features you may not be aware of yet. 7. Couple your posts with community and brand-specific hashtags Fact: posts with hashtags on Instagram receive more comments and “Likes” than those without them. Whether it’s a brand-specific or community hashtags, coupling your posts with #tags ensures more visibility for new followers. 8. Experiment with different types of content “Create good content” isn’t particularly helpful advice when you’re stumped on how to get more followers on Instagram. A more proactive alternative would be to post a variety of content. Although photos are obviously Instagram’s bread and butter, don’t neglect the other types of posts including videos (particularly live video), GIFs or user-generated content. sticking to the most popular content types can help you figure out how to get more followers on Instagram When in doubt, be willing to experiment to figure out what’s working and isn’t working to move the needle on your follower count. And hey, that actually leads us to our last point. 9. Use analytics to recreate your top-performing posts Figuring out what your target audience wants doesn’t have to be a guessing game Tapas Das - Model Mentor & Owner - Dreams Come True-DCT Model Management Delhi & Spot’less Fashion Magazine Instagram I’d - @tapasdas.dct ; Email id - tnflteam@gmail.com

My

journe as a photographer began when I was around 11 or 12 years old. My father was an amateur photographer and he would take me along in his trips, watching him and his associates was the first inspiration I had, I would say it was more of a sort of trying to mimic what he was doing, because I knew nothing about Photography. Slowly as i grew older I started reading books related to photography and that is how I build my bases. starting off with a film camera helped a lot, understanding the fine details of the art, being patient, studying the light, understanding the mood. I also draw inspiration from other artists like, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh. From literature, movies and anything that I find inspiring or motivating mostly. I have grew to appreciate the human body as an art form and that is what I try to portray through my work. right now I am trying to put a few concepts together for an art gallery, working on my boudoir collection and since I take inspiration from literature and mythology, in the near future I am going to do a modern photo story based on Indian Mythology and Greek Mythology. As an artist I also feel we are responsible to propagate the art form we are involved in, as such I organize and felicitate free photography workshops in my city, I also do the same in association with Universities and Colleges around the city.

Alarms

go off in the middle of the night, you wake up in a bit of a startled haze but you know you’ve gotta get up and get on that truck right away, a report of a commercial building fire. Get down to the truck, putting on all your gear while the truck starts and the radio chatter begins. Heavy smoke and flames visible they say. Heading down the streets in what seems like a long drive, you’re just picturing what’s going on based on any further updates and information provided over the radio. As you turn the corner, you can see bright light coming from behind some buildings and a thick plume of smoke, and you hopethat no one is inside. As soon as you arrive and get off the truck, you’re grabbing hose, heading in and searching. I’m Myscha Baehr, a firefighter and photographer in Toronto, Canada. I’ve been a firefighter for almost 10 years, and greatly enjoy every minute of it. Every shift is different, from the topic we choose to train on for the day, to the calls we run. Every day is different and exciting! I’ve seen such a variety of calls. Some have great outcomes, where you truly make a difference in people’s lives. Some calls make you scratch your head and wonder how could that possibly have happened. Some calls, you can’t un-see. For calls like that, it’s really important for anyone in the emergency services to have some sort of outlet to express the experience and help deal with the psychological effects of it to try avoid long term mental health issues. For me, I’ve found creative expression in my photography. While I do get to shoot a variety of genre of topics, events, and themes, I’ve developed a real niche for myself with first responder portraits. Started off a few years ago by being hired to do a portrait of a retiring firefighter, I had experimented with a more dramatically lit portrait, and included the use of a red covered strobe in the background to fill some shadows within the image with a red light to simulate some effect of light from an emergency scene. I really enjoyed the outcome of it, creating a very unique look to the traditional firefighter portraits where the subject is in dress uniform in front of the National Flag. The results garnered positive feedback and I would end up doing several more of these portraits. As word spread, I was getting a variety of firefighters from my own department as well as a few neighbouring departments. I started to realize that this was becoming a bit of a showcase of firefighters, it felt like it was really personifying the job by highlighting the person in the gear they wear everyday making it more relatable to the public as that’s the gear they see everyday when firefighters are out on a call. This lead me to the significant idea of expanding beyond just firefighter portraits, as the showcase should really include all our partners in the emergency services. We each play a vital role in the protection and service of our community and I felt featuring members from all services was so important. I reached out to a few people I knew in the other services and got the opportunity to work with some amazing people from all kinds of services. As Covid has pushed itself in to our lives, the portrait showcase of emergency services as expanded again to include all first responders and several other front line workers as I want to feature incredible people who couldn’t stay home to keep safe. These essential services need to continue, and that means people are taking on additional risks during this pandemic in order to keep essential services going. The goal of personifying these jobs has never been more important, as it helps people relate to these front line workers because they can see that we are people too, with lives and families to come home to. I have been really fortunate to work with Firefighters, Police Officers, Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses, Security Guards and I continue to want to feature others including Military and transit operators. Although Covid protocols have placed significant challenges in meeting people and photographing them within some aspect of their work environment, I have adapted to shooting outdoors and with the use of the gear I have, it’s possible to remain far beyond the physical distancing recommended. I feel positive about the balance to health and safety this creates while still being able to feature incredible people, working in incredible times. I’m a Canon camera shooter, with a variety of lenses. Now that I’m shooting outdoors, I have more than enough room to be able to use my absolute favourite portrait lens, the Canon 85mm f/1.2. With my portable strobe lighting from Godox, I’m able to shoot with 600w power in the middle of the day and still get the ability to control the light that falls on my subject through my octobox light modifier. Years ago, I never would have imagined what it would be like to have my dream job. The fact now that I’m able to combine my passion for my career, with my passion for photography is truly incredible. Every day is a new opportunity to help my community, or to be creative and meet some amazing people through my photography. Stay Safe! You can see more of my work on Instagram @myschabear

Hi

, My name is Joyrose Gurung, I am a makeup artist from Sikkim. It’s been 2&half

years that I am into beauty industry and I am happy with my journey so far. I learned makeup through YouTube, so basically I am a “Self taught makeup-artist” Since childhood I was so fascinated about makeup, beauty & fashion like every other girl that I decided to make this as my career and I am so glad I choose this. My experience is pretty good I must say because I was so enthusiast to learn and grow, everyone has to go through something before they do good in life or like in any other profession as nothing comes easily. There was a time I used to do makeup on music videos, shoots, pagent without getting paid because people think that’s an easy job, they don’t know the reality that making someone look good is actually a task and we also need so many products to create one look for that we also need some money to buy our products. Sometimes I Used to be so disheartened but now when I look back I fell so relieved that I didn’t gave up. Slowly, I started posting my work on Instagram, peopled started liking it, they acknowledged my work, they saw my capabilities, I was appreciated by so many people I look upto, after that I started getting so many projects and uncountable bridal appointment to be honest, that I have to multitask in every bridal season. I am specialised in Bridal, Shoots, films & music videos but my main focus is on brides. People they know me as a bridal makeup artist & I also give more preference to brides because I just love to make them look beautiful-confident and best on their magical journey. Playing a big role of their new beginning is the best thing the whole process Is so surreal that people will remember you by your work for their entire life. Another beautiful things I like about being a bridal MUA is i get to witnessed so many things, like their culture, traditions ethics which is so interesting. Not only Sikkim but the entire northeast region is known for their fashion sense. Whether it’s dressing up or making them look good all I know is people from here they do their best & know how to carry themselves. And I am so glad that I am from Sikkim. Our people are so genuine, kind, they support us in every ways, they appreciate what we do and the most important thing is they acknowledge our talents. Things aren’t like before, social media made every one is us so aware of what we do, the mindset of society is changing, they give chance to showcase our talents and I am so happy for my younger generations that things are different now, there are lot of opportunities waiting for you, make a best way of it. Showcase your talents, people will definitely support you. My message or tips to my youngsters: 1st and for most, make a good use of social media, know what you are good into, use your talents in a right way, like I said already things have changed you will be known by your talents, your work, be passionate towards your goal, try, experiment, it’s okay to fail, rise up and try again but never give up just remember the outcome at end your outcome will be fruitful that your will proud of not giving up. Hi, I am

Bablee Rai Bhuyan, a Photography enthusiastic from Assam. My journey of Photography started from a very tender age. I can say I have inherited it from my parents. My Dad owned a Zenith reel SLR which is totally manual. He loved to do travel photography in his earlier days. In my childhood, I used to hang it around my neck and click loads of photos, most of them used to be blur but my mother never failed to encourage me and taught me how to focus on a subject with the ReelSL. Her genre of photography was Portraiture. Basically, my parents were a big part of the journey of my passion. With a handy reel camera , Digital camera , mobile phone the journey of my photography is thereby continuing. After quite some experiments alongwith some experience, I finally owned a Canon700 DSLR using it to its fullest extent to take pictures till date. My Photography is mostly based on street, still-life and creative photography. My idea behind my photos are to show people what I see. According to me, “vision” is what matters for a beautiful scene to be captured, so one can click a beautiful picture when he/she sees the beauty within it. Also, “Perspective” plays the second vital role to click a photo as how a scene is observed by a person and from which angle and prospect. Lastly “Creativity” is something that makes a photo alive in its own way and the concept behind should be unique and original. Thus, these are the points one can find in my photography. Through your platform I want to share this very important message to the young generation that you can capture beautiful photos with just a simple phone or camera alongwith a kit lens rather than using expensive gadgets and lenses. What matters most is that “a photograph must tell its own story”. To see more of my work, you can visit me on instagram @lee_bhuyan

Round, Rectangle, and triangle! Basics of composition.

“Wow, what a great-looking image!” or “This image feels so heart touching.” Every photographer wants to hear about those lines for their photographs. We did good lighting. We pick the best camera money can buy. We invest a heavy amount in lenses, but... where do we go wrong! Why my images do not have a certain punch to them! Every aspirant photographer struggles with those notions. They try to find their answer in gears, lighting... or anything they can find luxurious on the internet. But the answer does not lie in costly gears or luxurious equipment. The answer lies in the composition. Improve the composition, improve your photography. That’s the basic rule for improving your photography journey. Composition is a huge topic by itself. Here we are talking about three basic geometries which are used to make a good composition. 1. Round - Round is the most used geometry in composition. Round signifies softness, love, and compassion. Everywhere you want to show joy and love in your photos try to find round geometry in your shot. Example Look at this photograph. It shows round, happy face in the center of the frame. 2. Rectangle -Rectangle signifies the boundary, inability, trapped. If you want to pour out those emotions in your shot, Make rectangles your friend. Example- A heartbroken girl. Unable to anything besides wait for her beloved one. 3. Triangle- Envy, Dark, Clever, Plotting the evil. These are connected with triangular shapes. If you want to show danger, dark, evil in your photograph, make your composition filled with triangular shapes. Example - What’s behind the window. Some kind of criminal activity? or Some person stealing his food! We can’t say but we can feel there is something evil behind this triangular shape. Je me

Hello,

To introduce myself, my name is Khemila Karim, I live in France more precisely in Paris. I have Tunisian origins and I arrived in France when I was 7 years old. I almost did all my studies in France in Strasbourg, my hometown, then I went to a university dedicated to sport courses (called “STAPS” in french), and it represented a shift in my journey : I began to modeling by being solicited by an agent. At the beginning, I did not realize what was happening to me but modeling contracts came one after another day by day until I was booked for the Paris Fashion Week. I had the chance to work for reknowned brands such as Adidas, Izac, Barena and so on. Afterwards, I signed in a new agency based in Italy where I had the opportunity to discover the italian fashion world. I felt like I was living in a day-dream as I am a big fan of Italian fashion. In terms of contracts, I worked for many different ecommerce brands, I also did come campaigns for French brands (television spots for chains like Gifi or Tati) and also for a wine brand (JP Chenet) and many others that I won’t list as there was a great number of them. I had the oppportunity to travel abroad, 4 months in India, it was a rewarding experience as it was totaly different from Europe. I really loved the culture, the food and regarding fashion, I did not really appreciated by working methods that had nothing to do with French ones for instance. Globally, it still remains a good experience that I will never forget. Regading my hobbies, I really love sports especially football and basketball as well as the running. Food is another passion as I love eating good food haha. I also love reading, goign to the cinema and traveling.

Ruchi Bhardwaj: From being a full-time software engineer to winning international beauty pageant. The greatest thing about fashion is that it does not only provides you with ways to style yourself but it also helps you express yourself. Such transcendental beauty of the art of fashion is of divine significance. Every time I see a woman who embodies this boldness that comes along with fashion, I instantly understand the strength of the personality of that woman. Ruchi Bhardwaj is one such woman who has embraced this sentiment of fashion almost effortlessly. Ruchi who hails from Madhubani, Bihar is now a household name in Madhubani after she became the first runner up of Mrs India runner up and she has now inspired so many women from her town to take the road less travelled by. A software engineer by profession, Ruchi credits her success and achievement to her perseverance and support of her both paternal family and her husband Nitish Bhardwaj with whom she has also worked on a music video based on a Rajasthani folklore. When I asked her about her journey and how she ended up from being a full-time software engineer to a fashion model, Bhardwaj said that she has always taken a deeper interest in fashion and clothing which made her give a shot to this career in fashion and modelling. She trusted her intuition and applied for Mrs. India and she won the title of Mrs. India Asia Pacific in 2019 and she was chosen to be the Face Of Year 2019. She won several other titles like the Mrs. Best catwalk Asia Pacific 2019 and Mrs. Personifying diva in Mrs. Worldwide 2019 as well. Seeing herself acing at an International Beauty Pageant which was held in Indonesia, she decided to give a shot to Modelling and Acting too. Bhardwaj also shared with us the secret to making it to the top in the modelling industry and said that after doing multiple modelling assignments in past couple of years and judging other beauty pageants, she now more strongly believes that beauty is more than the stereotype that how you look. She said “Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder and if you have a pure heart and soul and you believe in yourself, it is very much possible that people will love you. Being genuine and empathetic is the key to being beautiful and that will reflect in your sense of fashion.” Ruchi said, that after being crowned Mrs. India two years ago, her journey has been through some interesting ebbs and flows. Recently, she has been designated as North Zone Director of Mrs. India Asia Pacific 2021. Her venture as a lifestyle influencer has been in limelight and several brands have approached her for collaborations. Her Rajasthani song video ‘Tuute Baajuband’ has been appreciated and got her a bunch of goodies, which she is going to unbox pretty soon. She also mentioned that working in the modeling industry is not a piece of cake. She believes that some people in the industry deliberately try to make it hard for you to achieve more, but at the end, you have to get it together, learn the lesson life teaches you and grow on your own. About her future plans, she said that she will be seen in upcoming Punjabi albums and she also has a short movie in her bag that we will get to see very soon. She is exploring this industry and hopefully, we will get her to watch in commercials and other fashion and modelling projects more often than before. She has a message for the readers and specially for women and it is, “Dare to dream and strive to bring out the best in you. If you persevere enough, no dream is too big to be real.” We wish this gorgeous diva all the best and we hope our readers will find her story really inspirational and it will help them see the hope of light that it does not matter how humble your beginnings are, you can make it big in the world.

Body positivity. When I was growing up I was very shy and skinny in highscool. I used to wear glasses and I was very shy with men. I didn’t like the way I looked. People were cruel with jokes and bullying. So I went the psychologist when I was 14, and she told me that I would be made fun of if I didn’t take care of my personal appearance. So I triee to change. I changed my glasses to contact lenses, I dyed my hair and I started to dress up more feminine. People were treating me nicer, my teeneger life was good but complicated, like everyone else. I was still shy with men. I was too skinny and I looked always too young. I decided to hit the gym when I was 18. It made me feel so great. I also had a fulltime job as a housekeeper. I’d be biking to go to work, back and forth. I was so confident, when I started to gain strengh. I started to look at pictures of sexy women like Pamela Anderson, Holly Madison and other glamorous models. I really admire their beauty and sexiness. I always thought they were doing a fun, sexy and empowering thing by showing their bodies in a positive way. I really wanted to be like them but I was too shy. Then, when I was working at 19 I met a photographer from Vietnam. He offered me a photosession. In the beginning I was shy but as soon as the flashes came along, I said, this is for me. I felt it was my thing. At that time we did jeans and top on. Then we booked an outdoor bikini photosession. I felt that one worked better, since I was too skinny and not tall. I looked better with less clothes. I realized that you don’t need to be tall to be portrait model. There are plenty of sexy models that are my size, but more fit. I was still, too skinny. So I hit the gym harder. Then I went into acting at university. So I dropped the gym completely, I had no money for a membership. That career took me 4 years to finish, it was stressful, but at the end I did it. It felt great once I had my degree in my hands. My creativity was so developed. I wanted to do creative projects buy I had no money and I had to leave my parents house. I had no money. I moved to Canada, with 200 dollars in my hands. I started working in cleaning jobs and raking leaves house to house. I got a bachelor apartment and a boyfriend who supported me. He was my family. Then I worked at Hooters as a server until Covid hit, and they closed us. Since I had too much time off I started working out at home and came back to the photoshoots as therapy to keep me going. From my comeback to photoshoots I’ve worked with great local photographers and my pictures have been published in many magazines around the world. I’m very proud and thankful for all the modelling opportunities I have had regardless of my height. I encourage women that want to do glamorous, sexy, fitness Photography like me, to do it. Don’t care what people think or say. You have to do what makes you happy and achieve your goals. I want to inspire younger women to feel free, to dress up glamorous and feel free and beautiful.
