orn and residing in London, I am a British actor and model of Indian heritage and have had a passion for acting and modelling since the age of 16 when I was first discovered by a modelling agency. Projects I’ve had leading roles in range from feature films, music videos and TV commercials. It has been a real plea sure working with world renowned actors and artists such as Hrithik Roshan and Imran Khan across the British and Indian film industry. Why do I love what I do? I believe acting is the highest form of empathy. The way you have to immerse yourself into a role and really become that person is something I love to study, understanding the backstory of that character, who they are, what they like, things that they have been through is so important. There will always be someone in the audience who will resonate with so many facets of a particular character, and I think if you can understand how to do this well, you learn to understand people better. Staying adaptable and tenacious when perfecting my craft really helps me bring versatility to any role. Life experience has taught me to always stay true to yourself, find your passion and do what sets your soul on fire. When you find yourself being obsessed with something that doesn’t feel like work, as I’ve found with acting, it is so important to relentlessly follow your dreams. It’s never too late to go for it! Inspiring others and using my platform to create positive change is something I’m truly passionate about. 2022 will see the release of the feature film ’Screem’ in which I have a leading role, and will also begin shooting a feature film ‘Mary’s Place’ alongside various other projects.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY In portraits, what plays a fundamental role is the photographer’s eye. A good photo is only such that the eye knows how to look the context in which the subject is immersed, he sees the right lights, the vanishing lines, the depth of the place in which he is immersed. Having an eye trained to “see” and understand what surrounds us is essential to make a correct photo. I love making portraits in which the subject is immersed, it is an integral part of a context. Not a simple face, not just an emotion, but a face contextualized in the environment in which it is located, immersed in a world of colors that they must enhance the subject and must bring the eye of the observer of the photo to focus on the subject.

Model : @signorinabee_ @baglionestagione Photographer - @preacher_photography

Preacher Photography: What was it like competing on Masterchef Canada? Jennifer Baglione: It was the most riveting yet terrifying experience of my life. It pushed me to understand my limits and potential. It made me an expert in time management. It was a pivotal moment in my life and career. I had to hone in on what my talents and passions were. MasterChef Canada made me realize that my role in my home was not a job, but something I was truly passionate about. PP: How much has your life changed after being on the show? JB: After being on the show, my life changed, a complete 180. I found confidence in myself that I never knew existed. I also discovered how much I love being in front of the camera. I made a lot of lifelong friends. I found my path in life from being on the show. It was an amazing opportunity that truly changed my life and my family’s. PP: After appearing on a reality cooking show, what is your overall impression of reality cooking shows? JB: Well, you know when you see the contestants stricken with anxiety? Believe it. Because the pressure is real. It’s not fake. I know that from experience now.

©spotless fashion magazine issue jan 2022

PP: What kind of fan reaction did you receive while being on the show? JB: I was overwhelmed with the amount of love that I’ve received from strangers- especially the deaf and hard of hearing [ASL] community, as my parents are hearing impaired, I was proud to see I had made the community I grew up with, proud. In fact, I learned I was the ‘Fan Favorite’ when appearing on CTV’S: The Social. It filled my heart up with joy. In my eyes, my father is the cutest human being ever and to see that he too was getting so much love from fans really warmed my heart. PP: In life, we learn that there’s no success without failure. What have you learned the most from losing Masterchef Canada that you feel will ultimately make you more successful? JB: If you get kicked down, get up. No matter what – you have to show up – no matter how you feel, you have to stay standing. The winds are always blowing and the tides will always change, but you need to keep standing. PP: What is the biggest misconception that people have of you? JB: I think the biggest misconception is that I’m a princess who doesn’t work hard. The truth of the matter is, I have always worked incredibly hard and will continue to do so for as long as my health permits.

insta-spotlessfashionmagazine

9 PP: If you Google who the top chefs are in the world, the result is always men. Why do you think the culinary world is dominated by male chefs? JB: I think the culinary world is dominated by male chefs because of all of the grunt work that’s involved. It’s hilarious that the saying goes “women belong in the kitchen”, but if you walk into commercial kitchens almost everywhere, it’s dominated by men. As I mentioned, there’s a lot of grunt work. Long hours, unhealthy habits. It’s not a glamourous lifestyle, but I happen to love it. I fit right in. PP: What were some of the pitfalls that you encountered as a woman starting your food business? JB: On my journey from turning my passion into a business, working in commercial kitchens, I was always underestimated. I was frowned upon for being a reality TV show contestant. But, after my blood, sweat and tears, I have always proven myself. However, with my own business, I have yet to be underestimated. I always take pride in everything I do and deliver the utmost level of customer service and care as it is my personal brand and reputation on the line. PP: What drives you to succeed the most? JB: What drives me the most is my fear of wasted potential. I see so many people who make excuses instead of overcoming their personal obstacles in life. Personally, I believe one of the worst things you can be in life, is wasted potential. PP: So chicken feet and éclairs were ultimately your demise on the show. Have you prepared either since? JB: Yes, I have. Since the show, I have nailed my choux pastry for éclairs, but for the longest time, I couldn’t prepare it. Back then, any time someone mentioned éclairs or chicken feet, it was like PTSD was triggered! But I’m OK with it now. I truly believe in becoming the best version of myself, so I challenged myself to prepare both chicken feet and éclairs to perfection, and I have. PP: This global pandemic has been challenging for many of us for nearly 2 years — mentally and physically. Personally, I’ve done a lot of self-reflection and learned plenty about myself. What would you say that you’ve learned the most about yourself during quarantine? JB: During quarantine, I recognized that I have never allowed myself some downtime. It’s important to take care of your body. I also realized that I cannot sit still for too long, that I need to be engaged – whether it’s working or picking up a new hobby. There’s only so much Netflix-binging one can do! PP: How has the pandemic changed your relationship with food? JB: The pandemic allowed me to explore my love of food. Before lockdown, I didn’t devote as much time experimenting or developing new recipes. Now, that’s changed. For instance, I have recently introduced a new line of gourmet desserts, Dipped Cheesecake Pops ™. PP: What’s making you happy these days? JB: I find happiness in everything that I do. I take pride in turning pain into power and happiness. Right now, what truly makes me happy is having the creative freedom to work and conduct myself on my own terms. PP: I’ve saved the most important question ‘til last: pineapple on pizza — yes or no? JB: It’s a definite yes for me. The balance of spicy, sweet, salty and acid is a winner in my books. I know that every Italian is going to hate me for saying that.

©spotless fashion magazine issue jan 2022

PP: Let’s play word association. JB: Ok. PP: Sweet. JB: Cake. PP: Salty. JB: Chips. PP: Sour. JB: Lemon. PP: Hot. JB: Chilly peppers. PP: Cold. JB: Ice. PP: Sticky. JB: Caramel. PP: Moist. JB: Eew. PP: Delicious. JB: My food. PP: Éclair. JB: Oh, God. PP: Chicken feet. JB: Nonno Vito! insta-spotlessfashionmagazine

Woman: A Gift To The World Merry Christmas Mridula

Model -@modelmegha_official Mentor -@tapasdas.dct Stylist & concept - @amy_paints_ Photographer - @abhishekgoswami_photography

As the opportunity to create a concept photoshoot for the Christmas season was presented to “Abhishek Goswami” by the editor of “Spotless Fashion Magazine” with full creative freedom and a sensational aspiring model he was very excited. In his view, he felt this as a great opportunity to showcase Women as a gift. As he has always displayed women as a power house, in all his previous articles and concept photoshoot with our magazine’s previous issues (Tribal roots of India & Durga Paju’s Soul Over Ego). Woman is a “super natural phenomenon” created by God to make this world a better place for us. She has the nature to nourish not only a child but everyone around her with her kindness and protective nature (like Mother Merry). As per Abhishek women have evolved to keep the balance in the world and she has always helped everyone around her to progress and be a better human being. Women is known to be the most beautiful creation of God. In todays world, women are empowered and she is the true gift to build a better and strong society filled with love and kindness. In our magazine we, are happy to be associated with such an artist who keeps women as the centre of his theme. This shows that Abhishek is not only creative but have deep respect for such great evolution and he successfully depicts so, in all his visual artworks that’s why many of us know him by the name of “Vision Master”.

Hello!

I am David,a photographer and Video editer from Kolkata, India. I have been in this professional field for only a short time but managed to learn a million new things about this art everyday. The reason I am so grateful for what I do today is because of where I came from. From being a mechanic where I earned a minimal wage per day, to being recognised as someone who holds value. I come from a family of artists and despite being very creative as a child, for a long time I had no hope of ever persuing a creative career because of financial issues, still, I never stopped trying, I went to my job everyday, barely ate or slept, did multiple shifts a day only to be where I am today still I wouldn’t take anything back. I hope to improve and inspire as long as I am thought worthy of my name.

Foil Fashion

I have always been fascinated with fashion, crafting my own couture and photographing the same excites me. The idea of this alumunium foil outfit was inspired by floral head pieces and long mermaid tail styled skirts. I have used elements from both to create this outfit on our elegant model Muskaan Raj.

Paper Couture

This shoot has its origins in early childhood when paper craft was always my favorite activity. Now as a fashion photographer and a creative at heart, I am always looking to challenge myself to create something new, unique and different. This paper dress was crafted on our talented model Muskaan (from Tapasdas.dct agency). She had to endure several hours of my mistakes as I kept making and ripping the dress to finally come up with this look. Hope this will inspire others to follow their passion and creativity.

Capturing Movements & Multiple Phases Abhishek Goswami

This time I planned to capture different phases or let’s say different states of mind of a person at the same time, in a single frame/ exposure. As we all know that human beings are always in the process of evolving & self-realization. That feature in us, keeps us to understand ourselves, specially the psychological behaviour of a human (most neurologically developed living being on the planet!). Anyone can observe that our conscious and subconscious mind behaves/reacts in different manner most of the time. Some say meditation could be a solution to overcome this flaw/barrier in achieving the optimum state of mind. Well, here in these pictures I have tried to express two state of mind of a person at the same time. To execute this, I used long exposure time for the shutter and used multiple flashes to depict different expression according to the theme. For example, to depict different moods/characters what else could be better then a classical dance form as an artistic representation. Here, in the given pictures you can see two state of mind as fearful & fearless, kind & punisher etc. In the pictures of the other model you can see different state of mind of a princess (concept for the theme) as happy (dreamy) & sad (in reality) and moreover, the connection between the two phases which you can see as in movement of the model creates a path which depicts the process of the switching of the mood from one to another therefore, the displayed two phases in every picture are in contrast and the path of the switching movement in between those two phases have been also depicted through this photography technique.

Do u know what successful models do ???

Whenever they get selected in any projects - shoots or fashion shows and get to know that the client needs more models , they start referring there known good models to the client. Advantages - client is happy that they get good models within there budgets and chances of backout is rear as unresponsible model coordinators are not in the deals. So in future too they call you for there shoots. Secondly the models you help in getting the project in return helps you back in there future projects too. So this way a healthy relationship builds up between clients and the models. Also you get more and more projects without dealing with college going unprofessional model coordinators in between in a clean way. Always remember that industry is clean but these unprofessional model coordinators/agents actually made it dirty. So help others to help yourself. Thats what my Dreams Come True - DCT model management motto is. We are a single family. So whenever you find any requirements for models in your upcoming projects just inform me so that our 500+ DCT models can be benefited. Already few of our models doing the same and i am thankful to there support. Hope you will do so too. All the best for a successful future

I am Ramya

, a 22 year old model from Bangalore. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at Ramaiah University, Bangalore. I previously completed my Bachelor of Science from Mount Carmel College. If someone had to describe me, they would probably use the words hardworking, practical and focused. I love dancing, swimming and yoga. I am a huge foodie and travel fanatic and love trying different styles of cuisines from various countries. I always loved enjoying the limelight as I was into dancing, singing, mono acting and giving speeches from my school days. My interest in fashion and modelling peaked when I walked the ramp for 3 years in a row at Mount Carmel College. But it was only during the pandemic in 2020 that I decided to seriously consider modelling as a career. I also taught young students from rural backgrounds, some English grammar and vocabulary classes for a few months. This gave me a more wholesome feel. I struggle with anxiety for which meditation and yoga helps me cope up with it. I have done a number of photoshoots of different genres, one of my favorites being a hippie-street dancer themed one. I am a part of Bohe_sq company’s e-commerce clothing line. I was a part of a magazine workshop for chiizdotcom by notable photographer Abirroy. I recently walked for the launch party of Flo, a club at church street directed by Faheem Rockstar. I believe I have done a lot of varieties of photoshoots and projects while balancing my studies. I hope to one day make it in this industry as a runway model and a fashion editorial model.

Hello

, I’m Diana, a Portuguese woman full of dreams. I had to abdicate my goals with a lot of determination. Being a model has been a dream since I was 3 years old. I’ve always found it impossible for this to ever happen in my life. I left that dream aside for a while. At the moment I am a health worker. And in these difficult times that we are going through, it is a highly valued profession. I dedicate myself full-time to extreme hours at work taking care of high-risk people. It was 1 year since I started thinking more rigorously about my dream. The first step in the new world is confidence and especially liking our body. Which I had difficulties. At the moment I am fulfilled and intend to evolve further in my career. I have works with great professionals in the photography world. Couldn’t have my life full hearted In the fashion world I participated in an international beauty contest MissQueenPortugal where I took good experiences. Giving up on my dream of the catwalks is not in my plans either

One of the best perk of being in the industry is you become a known face and you inspire younger generation. 25 years old Did English honours and b.ed , i have the teacher degree. Belong to lower middle class family. I used to be very chubby in college, in my third year i went through depression after breakup and lost weight and became super skinny. Then i started weight training to gain strength and confidence. Curvy body became my goal as i was doing natural bodybuilding. I understood that my body can be curvy and strong at the same time. And I achieved a body structure where my muscles and fats came to thr right places and i became curvy. Because of my heavy bone structure I can’t be slim, in order to become slim i had to leave eating and that made me weak earlier. So ive been through a lot of body changing process. I’ve been through different body goal journey. And in the end i am satisfied the way my body is. And i dont believe in having body goals to copy others, rather I believe in doing workout to get better strength, flexibility, activness and stamina. After my graduation i did a lot of job like receptionist, call centres etc, but i was not satisfied. As i was financially weak and my parent never gave me a single penny. So i used to work , earn money and started buying clothes from sarojini. I became my own stylist, make up artist and did collab shoots. I left my job, i hardly had money to give gym fees. But I didn’t give up. I knew what i wanted but didnt know how. So, when i was about to leave these collab shoots, my agency approached me and gave me the offer to sign up with them which I accepted. I still work like am learning, professionalism is a must. And yes one imp incident which proved to a be a turning point in my life; I was rejected for amazon tele calling job, as in the final round they asked me what do you wanna become and I said a fitness model and hah, I was disappointed but God had better plans. I realised that when I did Amazon Banner Shoot. It inspires me and gives me hope in my bad times. As a model, i have realised that a model is not someone who should possess luxurious branded items. A good model shod possess a good character, should be a learner and always kind and humble.

in recent years many things have happened: tragic events but also beautiful moments but everything I have been through has made me realize how important it is in life to always fight for your dreams and never give up. lately I have started to think a lot about my life and I realized that the reason why I don’t break down and stay on my feet is just because I have so many reasons to be happy: “my family, my friends, acting”. my first approach to art was a few years ago during a beauty contest I was asked for a test of talent and I brought a monologue and from the very first words something inside me clicked that finally made me understand that this is my way. having grown up in a small town near Rome. a place where it was difficult to have greater prospects than other people had, but I have always wanted to have more and I really hope to succeed. When I went to school I was very shy and also a bit plump so unfortunately I was often teased, I had few friends people who I thought loved me but only some time later they proved the opposite of what they seemed. A few years later they left me from alone and it was not easy because at that time I experienced a very complicated moment in my life, but thanks to that moment I began to understand how much strength I have. thanks to acting I found myself. I finally understood my place in the world. but above all I met some unique people with whom I finally understood the true meaning of the word friendship. I love acting for many reasons but above all because thanks to this job I can play many different characters and vary between many unique and incredible genres that really put you on the line. acting for me is life, the best part of me. I want to conclude by saying something I was born to do this job and it is what I will do forever no matter how long it takes but I know I can. I close with this motto “always believe in your dreams and never give up”.
