12 “I can think of no better way of redeeming this tragic world today than love and laughter. Too many of the young have forgotten how to laugh, and too many of the elders have forgotten how to love. Would not our lives be lightened if only we could all learn to laugh more easily at ourselves and to love one another.” --

Theodore Hesburgh

We are trying to get the laugh to young and love to elders. We are pleased to introduce us as “ehsaas” involved in upliftment of underprivileged children, special kids (mentally challenged) and senior citizen who are really unwanted and unloved. We are organising shows since 2013. Through our shows, we have provided the platform for the not so privileged and the special kids (differently abled) to perform and show their hidden talent to the bigger and wider audience. Top performers are not only encouraged but are also given a platform to showcase their strengths.

BUT THIS YEAR WE HAVE PLANNED TO GIVE A PLATFORM TO THE TREMBLING HANDS AND EMPTY / DREAMLESS EYES. The theme of the show is Dancing, Singing, Modeling, Acting and other hidden talents. This year in the month of February, we are organising “Ehsaas The Second Inning” in Delhi.

Dancing:We are promoting the kids from the slum area. They are the same kids who are unwanted and unloved by the society. Our choreographers spend a lot of time with them and provide them with apt guidance.

Modeling:We are promoting special kids (differently abled) for modeling. Our designers are working very hard to dress them up. Frequent visits are made to a special school by our designers, they spend their time working with the differently abled to provide them with the perfect design and guide them throughout the visit.

Hidden talent from Senior Citizens:We want to keep the smile on the faces that have forgotten to smile over the years, we want to see them humming who have forgotten to sing a long time ago, we want to see them dancing who hardly walk now. We are just trying to motivate them to grow in their lives and also fill the gap in our elder’s life. If we will be able to change a single life it will be a great reward for our team. We are searching for the thinkers who can understand us, our individuality, our motto, and contribute their part and help us in the fulfillment of our objective. We have a lot of media partners who are helping us by promoting our cause through different media like newspapers, electronic media, television programs, news bites, magazines and other sources. Few of them are (Door Darshan, DD Kisaan, Samachar Plus, Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, Punjab Kesari, The Monday Times, Spotless Magazine, Kaljayee Magazine etc.). @vanya_kanchan.singh ©spotless fashion magazine issue dec 2021

ver since I was a kid I loved to pose. Be it in front of the mirror, friend or family. However, I didn’t know that one day my like would become my passion. How it all started! In my college fest we had a fashion show event and I was coaxed into participating in it by a friend, as she was eager to take part and wanted a companion. Though I was initially hesitant I decided to take part just to keep her word. To be very candid I really enjoyed my experience.I felt at ease with ramp walk and posing in front of the crowd. After the show one of the organizers asked me if I would like to try a modelling assignment and I readily agreed. He introduced me to a professional photographer who agreed to give me a shoot assignment. And that’s where it all started. Modelling Career - Early Days My first assignment was baptism by fire. I realized that posing in front of the camera was a very exciting proposition. However, I have to work really hard to understand the finer nuances of being a model as well as that of photography. I had to be acquainted with the instructions given by the clicker as well as the lights, camera and all the action happening around. I realized that modelling is serious business and I have to groom myself to keep up with the pace and survive in this highly competitive environment. The career progression As days went by I began to groom myself and understand how the profession really works. I deeply studied videos of leading international and Indian models to understand how they pose and interact with the camera, how they carry themselves on and off shoot, their skin care regime, diet and fitness mantra. I realized that the real work is done when I am not working. To keep myself fit, positive and to prepare myself physically and mentally with each passing day. More shoots followed with good photographers and I became more confident and capable professionally. The obstacles Just like in any every profession, modelling has its share of pre-concieved notions and myths. Since I have a dusky complexion and am not very tall, I had to face initial hazards in the form of rejections. However, I never let that demotivate me and I continued to work hard and groom myself. I started interacting with more photographers and shared my portfolio with them. Thankfully, I got acquainted with people who were not only able professionals but also good humans. They worked with me, guided me and gave me constant encouragement. This much needed boost gave me the strength to spread my wings and fly high. Today... I have worked and am working with some of the top photographers of Eastern India. I have travelled to different parts of India for assignments and have won accolades from different sources. I would like to say that if you have a dream and work hard towards it, nothing can stop you from achieving what you want. The sky is the limit!

rrise, Awake and stop not till you achieve your goal- by Swami Vivekananda. Hello...I am Darshana Hazarika, Hailing from one of the most beautiful Northeastern states of India - ASSAM. I am 23 years old Graduate in Mathematics. Currently I am pursuing my M.Sc in “ YOGA THERAPY “ . Professionally I am a yoga instructor and have been training people of varient ages in India and abroad. However I have a bright outlook for modelling since my childhood. My passion for modelling guided my way to pageantry for the first time in 2018 when I was 20 years old to fulfill my biggest and the most vibrant dream of becoming Miss India and Miss Univese thereafter. I became Miss Rampwalk in my state in 2018, a finalist of a Mega pageant of Northeast - Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast 2019 without any training from an expert. I also bagged the title “DY CALENDER GIRL 2020”. My practice and dedication with a proper training from Cocoaberry Talent and academy helped me bag the title of “India’s Miss TGPC - Assam” and Miss Rampwalk in a National platform INDIA’S MISS TGPC recently on 21st Nov 2k21. My active cells always attracts me to physical and mental fitness. My crave to explore myself and learn new skills made my way to learn all style Martial art. Thus, I joined my martial class on 28th January 2021 with a view to learn self defense to become capable of protecting myself from the sexual predators. While I also believe in welcoming every opportunity as a golden chance to flourish and learn more, earn new achievements. Hence I participated in a State Thai Boxing Championship on 12th February 2021 with the confidence to win the competition with hard 10-12 days of practice only. With no surprise my believe in myself and intense practice I won SILVER in the State . No barriers could stop me thereafter. I earned a double promotion in KARATE belt examination with my performance and got my recognition as an ORANGE BELT IN KARATE with two months of dedicated practice. Now I stand as an inspiration, a role model for many women around me who thought that achievements are made only by the royal people and Men. Here I would like to tell all my audience, friends, sisters and brothers, young women that success do not knock your way unnoticed but with your utmost faith in yourself , your self realization and dedication which gives an unwavering confidence to overcome barriers and see beyond the horizons does. However failure is a part of the journey for all so was it for me . My only support system was my faith that “ I CAN DO AND I WILL DO “ rest all other supports might get shaken at times . But you, your God and your belief would never ever leave you. I honestly believe in one principle - “A healthy breathing pattern helps us gain control over our body and mind and help us deliver quality work in life” #STAYHOME #STAYFIT.

hese are the right questions and now I will try to give you an answer, hopefully in the shortest way even if I’m not sure. There would be too many things to say, too many emotions to describe, I don’t know how to start the conversation or how to develop everything I have in my head. But I will try it. I just know that I want all of this and I will fight with all my strength to achieve it. I introduce myself my name is Emanuela Turchi, in “art” Psych0str0ng. I am 25 years old and since I was little I have always had a passion for fashion and the whole world that surrounds it to the point of attending the Art School with a specialization in Fashion. Why this pseudonym? I have combined two of my main features: - Psycho: being crazy, insane, moody, all too instinctive - Strong: because since I was a child I have always fought for my life, to live, to express myself and for everything that is important to me. Why am I modeling? Because I want to show that apparently I can look like the typical blonde doll girl, but inside me there is a whole world to discover, also when I started I was 16, and at that moment all the problems I had in my head disappeared, all worries vanished, being in front of a goal made me and makes me feel good, it gives me strength, excites me, thinking of being for those moments the “muse” of someone intoxicates me. Through my photos, my collaborations, my shootings, I would like to demonstrate that I am able to have self-esteem and say in a loud voice “I DID IT”. I hope I managed to pique a little curiosity.

I

used to think about the events that have taken place in my life and wonder about the would haves and could haves. What could have been different? I often thought about what I could have changed but looking back at my life I am glad everything happened the way it did. All the twists and turns with the ups and downs now bring me a sense of peace knowing that they all happened for a reason, as each event led me closer to who I am today. Hi, my name is Shenita Kamala Rambaran, I’m 21 years old and this is my story. Growing up in the humble city of Scarborough, life wasn’t all unicorns and rainbows for me. I always found myself on the run, moving from school to school, home to home, constantly having to adapt to new environments all in an effort to get away. You can say I have learned to just run all my life, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Starting with the day I was born, entering the world at only 2 pounds and 2 ounces at 28 weeks, so tiny but so eager to make my mark on the world. Growing up my health was a constant struggle due to my premature delivery and it came with a lot of challenges, starting with being diagnosed with a learning disability at age 7, inflammatory bowel disease at 13, an eating disorder and mild OCD at 17 as well as the development of unknown seizures. This was my reality for as long as I can remember and with having to adapt to these changes in my life came strength I would have never imagined existed within me. I used to think that having sickness defined me as a person when in reality it was simply one small piece of the entirety of me. Struggling with my health issues took a toll on my mental health throughout middle school, as I was often bullied to the point of suicide on many different occasions. The thought of life became too much to bear and unfortunately like many of today’s youth, I attempted suicide at countless points in my life. When I entered high school things got worse, as I was rarely in school and spent most of high school at the hospital. The memories of the cold hospital rooms, strange people, and ultimate loneliness still replay in my head when thinking back on my high school years. This fills me with sadness because I think of all the milestones I missed growing up. Despite this, I’m glad it worked out like that because I was able to connect with others who are facing similar or even worse fates than me. This made me realize the true meaning of resilience. During high school, I did some interviews and public speaking gigs that helped me realize that I wasn’t alone in my experiences. In fact, through these gigs I found a whole community of people who had gone through similar experiences in their lives. I thought after graduation that my life was set. I was so excited to experience college life but once I turned 18 my life took a turn. I felt trapped and stuck at home. I constantly felt overwhelmed due to the environment at home to the point where I could not breathe. I felt like I needed to just disappear, so I did. My first week of college I left home with nothing but my backpack and a bus ticket, which gave me a taste of what the real world is like. I got caught up in a bad environment of drugs and alcohol, which combined with abuse and toxicity to lead me into my first relationship. At first my mental health was doing well; however it quickly took a turn for the worst when we broke up. I did so many things with another human being that I had never experienced, all for that chapter of my life to suddenly end. Going through my first heart break I thought my whole life was over, but little did I know I just needed some time for things to get better. Who knew two years was going to be the amount of time I needed to get over him? At this point, I finally had my own place and I thought I had it all under control when in reality I needed guidance. I was partying, drinking, and doing drugs thinking it would help with the pain. Although it helped, I realized I couldn’t rely on any of that long term for my own good. This motivated me to get myself together and start fresh. It was around 4 AM one night when I was staring at my ceiling thinking about makeup. I knew it was something I am good at so I thought it would be best to make something out of it. I started planning and within a couple of months, I had my own cosmetic business up and running. Fast forward 2 years and I hadn’t seen my mom, dad or sister since I had moved out. God had other plans however, as my health started to deteriorate to the point that I had to move back home because I could not live on my own any longer. It was rough moving back home, adjusting to the life that has made me feel so trapped and breathless. Within the two years I was away both my family and myself had changed drastically. This made things better although that feeling of being trapped was still slightly there. I was able to mend the broken relationship I had with my family, I went back to school to gain knowledge for the business that I have, and I ended up getting in to the modelling industry. I was finally feeling like my life was on track. I soon found myself in a second relationship and I thought that it was going to be the one. Unfortunately, it became very toxic as it was mentally, emotionally, and physically draining. Luckily with help of the right people around me I was able to safely get out of that situation. I began to focus more on my makeup career and my modelling career. I was able to take on a bunch of new hobbies such as swimming, dancing, singing, writing and hiking. Although everything was getting better, I started feeling lonely and I felt like something was missing. I entered my third relationship not too long after, which ended within months. This time instead of sulking over the loss I moved on with my life by pushing my feelings deep down and ignoring the fact that I was hurt. I learned to put myself first for once and it carved me into a better version of myself. I also learned not to care so much for people who have not shown that they care for me. I learned to do things that make me happy, and it helped me enjoy life much more. Months have passed and I am currently living my best life. I have gone on adventures I never thought I would have been able to do, I have made new friends, and I recently met someone! I’m almost done with school, the relationships I have with my friends and family are amazing, and I am finally happy being myself. I have laughed more these past couple of months than I have ever laughed and smiled in my entire life and it feels good! I realized it’s been about four years since I left home and with everything that I have been through, I am glad it all happened the way it did because God was only giving me challenges in life that I could handle, which made me the version of myself that I am today. With that said I still go through rough patches; however it does not bother me because it is a part of life. Remember, God only puts your through what you can handle and it’s how you choose to deal with it that matters most!

T

his photographic project conceived and created by the internationally renowned photographer Andrea Sartore, was created to highlight the beauty and femininity of women in all its shades. First, with Make up Artists Chiara Bernardelli, we worked on a light, “nude” make-up, analyzing the complexion and facial features of the Italian-Senegalese model Denise Sene to prepare the best base with primer, foundation and concealers. It is important to meticulously camouflage all skin defects with a concealer (dark circles, pimples, discoloration, redness) to show live Photoshop effect skins. Then the Make Up Artist mattifies the skin with a powder and applies the blush on the cheeks. She then creates the eye makeup with a skilful use of cream and powder eyeshadows, eye pencils, eyeliner and mascara in such a way as to accentuate the intensity of the gaze, and concludes by applying the gloss on the lips. The rule is to deeply engrave and sculpt the face with the now infamous contouring, without forgetting to comb and define the eyebrows which are a fundamental part of the face that characterizes our gaze giving it expressiveness, therefore they should never be neglected. By defining the points to be highlighted through lights and shadows, we will recreate the volumes that the photograph, being static, will flatten, restoring its three-dimensionality to the face, therefore we must never be afraid to dare. Then the great skills of the Hair Stylist Luca Desio enter the scene, who immediately went to treat the model’s curly hair in the best possible way, hydrating and enhancing it in all her natural volume. Curly hair needs a lot of care to avoid the hateful ‘frizz effect’. Curly hair, in fact, are very difficult to keep in order and to be maintained in a healthy and well-kept way, precisely due to the “rebellious” nature. This type of hair is very fragile and particularly sensitive to climate change, exposure to the sun and humidity in the air, but with the use of the best products we have achieved the desired effect, a good combination of disorder and class. Moving on to the set, we actually started playing with a transparent nylon sheet placed in front of the model’s face; all to obtain with each shot always different effects deriving from the bounce of the light of the flashes on the sheet and on the face, all surrounded by the right positioning of colored lights that allowed us to have the “glamor” effect we wanted. For the next set, the Make Up Artist intensified the makeup on her eyes: defined eyebrow arches that open the gaze, high and seductive cheekbones, and a luminous eye contour. Finally she applied butterfly wings in a precise and surgical way on the model’s eyelashes; which then as a second step the Hair Stylist, after arranging and fixing the hair, applied in turn on the same and on the model’s shoulder, in such a way as to create the right harmony and truthfulness. In this case, when shooting, the photographer decided to use a blue light in combination with the flashes; the result was delicate and very harmonious shots, just like the flight and the self of real butterflies. Few animals capture our imagination as much as they do. Their magnificent colors and graceful flight satisfy our senses; we associate them with spring and that sense of renewal that this season evokes. We are fascinated by their incredible and mysterious life cycle, in which through the process of metamorphosis a crawling caterpillar transforms into a wonderful flying and brightly colored creature. Butterflies are part of our life, they belong to our art, our folklore, culture, magic and myth; and this is the message we wanted to convey. In the last and final set of this fantastic photographic collaboration, however, we have revolutionized everything. In the face sculpting phase, the make-up artist paid a lot of attention to the light points to better emphasize the cheekbones. The eyes for this shot were outlined by a thin and very refined white eyeliner in such a way as to give greater prominence to the mouth, where the perimeter of the lips was drawn with a red pencil, blended the contours inwards with a brush, applied the lipstick and finally applied the gloss to give it greater prominence and an even more voluptuous effect. Once the makeup is finished, it is necessary to move on to the hair and here too the result you wanted to obtain was the opposite of before, so, the hairdresser, considering that it is very important not to comb curly hair when it is dry because it could be damaged or wrinkled, applied a leave-in conditioner and a mousse to wet them, then starting with a comb with wide teeth to comb them, with the simultaneous use of the diffuser to gradually create a real sphere of perfectly round hair. All fixed at the end with spray lacquer. In the meantime, the photographer has set up the set, always with an intelligent use of creativity, imagination and light. The preparation of a photographic set, in fact, is the main activity for the creation of a work of art. Starting with the shots, it was decided to introduce a red light spotlight in combination with the lipstick and we brought in colored gloves to give an additional touch of color to the shot, considering the pure and clean white background. The idea this time was to keep the model in her world made of thoughts and lightness despite the external interference that came from every side of her body. A woman wrapped and hunted by hands but who despite this does not allow herself to be overwhelmed by anything or anyone, and indeed, who adapts in a totally positive and relaxed way to the situation. After all the achievements of the various projects, we can only be satisfied with this great and absolutely fruitful collaboration that sees four great professionals united for a single purpose: the photographer Andrea Sartore, the make-up artist Chiara Bernadelli, the hair stylist Luca Desio and the Model Denise Sene. When you have such a united and cohesive staff at your disposal, the result can only be superlative.

1.

What are the key factors you have in your mind while doing an outdoor shoot?

It’s always exciting and enthralling to plan and execute an outdoor shoot. I always try to choose the location according to the concept I have in my mind for the photo shoot and painting. To select accordingly, I pay attention on few things like the climate and weather conditions, geographical aspects, availability of shooting conditions on sunset and sunrise, easy access, safety, nearby help centers or accommodation for the team. 2. How to get more creative and expressive composition in an outdoor shoot? To create more expressive composition on the very location, I always keep focusing on visualizing the possible angles and direction of lights (from natural sources of courses) and changing directional angle of that composition depends upon the concept I have in my mind. Manipulation can be done by covering the unwanted background by the subject/ any possible foreground. To utilize the already present elements on the location (which are fixed and immovable of course) is the big task and executing accordingly is worthy and fruitful. 3. What is the best time for an outdoor shoot? Best time could be suggested as the concept, model ease, location and its all possibilities. Mostly, I prefer sunrise and sunset let’s say golden hours of the day, but it could be done any time by manipulating (blocking, reflecting, defusing) natural light. If there is a drama in the sky or weather has a little disadvantage its always best to utilized it on the time if possible and if it suits your concept of course. 4. How do you use self timer and what are the complications involved in it? When it comes to taking self shots, I do prefer self timer instead of taking help from anyone else behind the camera to press the shutter release button. As it is in my control to reach to the spot and guide (the other models as per the required posture and expression) in the mean time I would be getting ready to pose accordingly and expression on the face at the given right time when the shutter is about to release, is always enthralling and very satisfying result is as same as I have visualized. Complication could be the limited time to reach to the very spot and holding the required posture while giving expression in just last half or one second. Remembering the exact position, angle of posture and face according to the given lights direction is the big task in self timer while working with complex multi directional tights and shallow depth of filed. 5. What are the difficulties associated with outdoor shoot and paintings? Difficulties associated with outdoor shoots or open air painting could be weather conditions, complexity of that particular surface and environment. Safety issues (as being in the deep jungle), immovable elements of the composition & the natural light conditions as per the given/ angle of vision and there could be any distraction at any time. 6. What story and emotion dose these photos and paints of your displays? Via these pictures and painting, I tried to express the real beauty of nature, the beauty of being with in nature, submerging into it and celebrating life at utmost pleasure and freedom. Embracing the real us, being pure and enjoying the process which is, so healing, rejuvenating and spiritual of course. In this concert jungle and system of consumerism with a never ending rat race , these experiences which should come naturally to us is very dreamy for us and my pictures depicts that dream.

I

am a fashion photographer with a creative mindset- I like my pictures to be clean, provoking and pleasing. My journey into fashion photography started in 2012 when I was stationed in Melbourne, Australia. At the time, I was shooting landscapes and cityscapes. I joined a group on “meetup.com” focussed on shooting models in the streets of Melbourne. This was my first foray into fashion photography. I quickly realised that shooting people was very challenging - especially when you must make them look fabulous. Initially, most of the models I was were working with were amateurs, this forced me to learn how to direct models, pose them and capture best angles. I also recall that at the time, I was not editing any of my pictures, and I always wondered ‘why my images did not look like those in the magazines?’... Lesson learnt: Editing is an equally important aspect of the fashion shoot workflow. This forced me to learn the little bit of Photoshop I know. Tip: for commercial work, always engage a professional editor. I started with no background and connections in the fashion industry - it was a trying journey. I moved to Sydney in 2014. There, with a friend, we started our very own meetup group that focussed on all things fashion and people photography. Today the group stands at 4500+ strong. Slowly we made connections with many designers, beauty pageant directors and models alike. Ours is a not for profit group, the idea is to ease the barrier for newcomers and make fashion photography accessible to aspiring talent. I found people, both professionals and amateurs were willing to collaborate and contribute to the group. We organized many workshops and portfolio building shoots. Various beauty pageants and most Sydney Runways invited our members to shoot. I am proud to say, more than the pleasure I had running the group and its activities, for me it was always the personal bonds that I developed which kept me engaged on the group. I relocated to Delhi in 2018. I had no connections in the industry in India. But, the difference between Delhi and Melbourne was - now I had a solid body of work to show. My extreme passion for my craft and a never say die attitude have kept me going. I am slowly making my way into the industry here and connecting with wonderful people. Just as I was getting on track in Delhi, the pandemic struck, and the world came to a halt. I am fascinated by the human spirit, the sheer will to exalt under trying circumstances. This defines who we are. Though a significant setback globally, we quickly found genius ways to adapt… virtual shoots started... online fashion shows found space... the industry adapted to the new reality. We are now recovering from the after-effects of the pandemic, I see this as a huge opportunity for every individual. Social media has taken a huge leap during the pandemic, one needs to be creative in these times to reach potential clients and deliver in this new era. To me, every shoot has a life of its own - things that happened before, during and after the shoot - it is the human story behind every shoot that is most interesting to me. A fashion shoot is like any other project in any field, it takes detailed preparations and careful execution. Every team member has a part to play. I remember, for one particular shoot, it took 8 months into planning. We wanted to shoot a desert theme with camels, to find camels in “Sydney” - we must be insane - the whole planning and location recce and getting the team to the location was a challenge. People often see the final product - without realizing the effort the team put in to create them. Teams brave the scorching sun, spine splitting cold and hours over hours of running around into making a location shoot happen – it is a wonderful example of how people come together to create magic. To my fellow photographers, my two cents to you is to chase your passion. Though it is a cliche, “do what you love” this is what I do. Follow your instincts ... reach out... do not be shy to ask for help.. present your work to people who can critique and help you grow. In Delhi, I have started a not for profit initiative called “Delhi-Fashion-Fotography”, this is to bring together people from the world of fashion to nurture and help aspiring talent. We owe it to ourselves, to lay a strong foundation for the next wave of brilliant designers/stylists/makeup artists/hair stylists/photographers and anyone interested in the craft of fashion. I believe we can all grow together... the more we connect and share, the stronger we will be. I encourage you to join this initiative. Social media presents a huge opportunity, write to designers, models, bloggers and all who want to create content. Do not be disappointed if you do not hear back, keep reaching out. I say from experience, some will definitely get back to you and will want to work with you. Do not let opportunities slip by, no matter how small, they are a step towards your bigger goal. Apart from photography, I enjoy travelling and, on every trip, I take my camera along - there is an abundance of photo opportunities everywhere. I enjoy occasionally binging on courtroom dramas. More often, I am conjuring up ideas for future shoots – it is a purely mental exercise and I find it relaxing. I spend a good deal of time on social media. We all have faced (or will face) criticism on social media - take it with a pinch of salt and do not let it get to you... the strangers commenting do not know you and certainly they do NOT have your best interests at heart. Bottom line is, moderate the time you spend on social media, filter out the negativity... take healthy criticism positively and try to improve what you can. To sum up, Fashion photography is a passion I take seriously. I am grateful to Mr Tapas Das for providing me this opportunity to share my thoughts with you. I wish all readers of the magazine the best in life.

My

life has been like this quote of Mark Twain that says, “ twenty years from now you will be more disap pointed by the things you didn’t do. So , throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore* Dream * Discover” Life, however, has not always been such a smooth sail. But a silent sea never made a skilled sailor. As far as I remember I have always been a role. More than an individual I would always identify as a role, one of , a supporting younger sister, a caring elder sister, an obedient daughter, a loving wife and the biggest role of all. That of being a Mother. Somehow, in between all these roles I was never able to find myself. She was always peeping at ne , poking me at different stages, trying to come out of the shadows but I would always dismiss her for something that would require my urgent attention As time went by u slowly and successfully buried her under the weight of my responsibilities. She would knock at my heart once in a way just to be ignored. Until one say having gone into a very dark zone due to post patrum depression I finally let go. I was blank, I was lost, I was broken, I was scared. But I persevered . One step at a time I tried to claim myself and my life from the death grip of the depression I was going through. As fictional as it sounds, I danced my way out of that dark place. The shy country mouse of a girl who used to hide behind the shadows of others started holding the spotlight at different stages. At 40, when most women think that this is the end of their dreams, I started weaving mine. It with sheer determination that I won the Mrs. India title. And this proved to be great booster to the flight I was planning on taking. Since then, I have modelling, acting, dancing, being ab influencer to society and women who are where i once was, in a very dark place. To them I extend my hand , through my journey I want to let all the girls and women around the world know . No matter what you do , no matter how many times you screw up and think to yourself there’s no point to carry on, no matter how many people tell you that you can’t do it- keep going. Don’t stop. Don’t quit. Because a month from now you will be that much closer to your goal than you are now. Yesterday you might have said tomorrow, make your today count.
