112 Suomi application
Why do I use it? 112 Suomi is a downloadable app for your smartphone. By using it, you get help faster in an emergency. Caller location information is automatically transmitted to the Emergency Response Centre. Emergency call processing is faster and help can be sent to the right location.
Where do I use it? In an emergency, when I need help for myself or another person.
How do I use it? Find the app 112 Suomi in your smartphone’s app store. Follow the instructions in the app store and download the app. Place the icon where you can easily see it on your phone. Allow the app to access your phone’s location. Launch the app and enter your phone number. The application is then ready for use. In an emergency, select the 112 Suomi application on your phone and press the CALL 112 button and press the handset icon. Give your name and explain the situation you need help with. Do not turn off the phone until the Emergency Response Centre operator says that you can hang up.
How much is it?
It’s free. You can call the emergency number even if you don’t have any balance left on your phone account.
Where do I buy it? 112 Suomi is available for download from application stores for free on smartphones.
Important to know Additional services of the 112 Suomi application include emergency numbers or non-urgent assistance and the transmission of emergency warnings. Update the application regularly. You can change the language used by the application and your phone number in the application settings. The GPS positioning on your phone must be turned on if you want the most accurate location information to be transmitted to the Emergency Response Centre.
