All meeting rooms feature carpeted floors and 18' ceilings. These rooms are not designed for overhead rigging; however, ground support rigging is permitted, provided it has been reviewed and certified by the in-house preferred audio/visual company. Sign holders are available next to the meeting room doors for use. Please note that taping, pinning, or mounting items on walls in any form is strictly prohibited.

INTERNET SERVICES

The Mountain America Expo Center offers high-speed, reliable Internet services. These services include wired Internet access, point-to-point networking, wireless buyouts, hotspots, and custom network design. We also offer telephone and voice conferencing services.

ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Mountain America Expo Center offers engineering services in the exhibit halls. These services include compressed air, water connections, drain lines, water fills, and natural gas services. Services can be ordered through the Event Technology department or online in the Exhibitor Service Center.

MARQUEE ADVERTISING

There are three full-color LED screens positioned at the south and north ends of the parking lot adjacent to State Street. Each screen measures 11’ 10” high by 9’ 2” wide (270x330). Slides featuring “This Week’s Events” are complimentary for all exhibit hall events. Clients also have the option to submit customized media for an additional charge. Media details:

Supports all video codec variations, including uncompressed video files.

Standard image formats, including JPG, BMP, PNG, AVI, and MPG are accepted. PDF formats are not accepted.

SUSTAINABLITY FOCUSED

The Mountain America Expo Center is dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact through sustainable practices. We collaborate with event clients to reduce, reuse, and recycle, ensuring that items eligible for donation are not discarded.

By lowering energy, water, and landfill usage, we help reduce carbon footprints and help save you money on utilities and waste disposal. Plus, our donation prog b fits the Salt Lake community while offering tax write-off opportunities for clients.

Sustainability

Fun Fact! Three beehives have arrived at the Mountain America Expo Center. These bees will build colonies, pollinate the area, and produce honey as part of our sustainability efforts. We're excited to share their honey with employees and clients—a sweet success for all!

Mountain America Expo Center is proudly featuring one of the striking murals from the newly launched “West of Conventional Mural Tour” initiated by Visit Salt Lake, in partnership with Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson. This mural tour is an exciting initiative that celebrates the vibrant and diverse cultural landscape of Salt Lake.

This mural tour represents the first of many local activations, showcasing ten murals by some of Salt Lake’s Most renowned local artists selected by the Utah Arts Alliance. The Utah Arts Alliance played a crucial role in selecting these incredible artists and managing this project, focusing on diverse voices and highquality works. The artists include Traci O’Very Covey, Shae Peterson, Josh Scheuerman, Jimmi Toro, Chris Peterson, Miriam Gutierrez, Matt Monsoon, Jorge Arellano, Bill Louis, and Gerry Swanson.

The tour is free and accessible via a mobile link. Participants can win prizes, including a branded t-shirt, by visiting at least 6 of the 10 murals and checking in with the Mural Tour Pass.
